I've been coming to Laguna Beach, for the past 18 years for the Summer, I spend an extended amount of time here. Overall, the selection of great restaurants are many, unfortunately, GG's is not one of them. My family and I decided to try it tonight for the first time, since I'm of Middle Eastern descent. The food is mediocre (bland) at best; part of our main course was cold. The service was slow and in fact our server ignored us after he served us our appetizer, he was more concerned about a bigger party than our table of four. I also didn't care that they serve their cocktails and wine in plastic cups, when I inquired as to why that is, they used the virus as an excuse, which doesn't make sense, since every restaurant in Laguna is using glasses. Lastly, the prices do not commensurate with the quality. There are too many wonderful restaurants in Laguna and surrounding areas I'd rather patronize before I would come back!

I can’t say enough good things about this place! As a Turk, finding food that actually tastes like home is rare, but GG’s completely nailed it. The flavors, the freshness, the way everything just felt so right—it was exactly what I’ve been craving.

The restaurant itself is super clean, and the people working there (I’m pretty sure they’re the owners) are the sweetest. They make you feel so welcome, like you’re sitting down for a meal at a family friend’s house.

And the location? Absolutely stunning. It just adds to the whole experience. But the real game-changer? They serve Turkish breakfast on Sundays. If you’ve never had Turkish breakfast before, trust me—it’s the best breakfast experience you’ll ever have. Endless little plates of deliciousness, fresh bread, cheese, olives, honey, tea… I could go on forever. I’m already dying to come back and try it.
