Natraj Cuisine of India — Restaurant in Laguna Beach

Full disclosure I did order my most recent meal off of doordash, but it was the taste of the food that was poor not the delivery. Naan was soggy and thin like a wet napkin, the Bharta I got vegan (like I do all of the time at the Natraj in Laguna Hills) but it’s as if they’re using completely different recipes, the bharta I got tonight tasted like tomato paste, seasoning was nonexistent tasted closer to Italian food than Indian food. The person on the phone insists that my order tasted bad because it was vegan but like I said before, I get this same order often from the other location, it’s always excellent. I’ve been to the location in person and thought the same thing but decided to try again since it had been a while. I understand that there’s nothing they can do to refund me because I ordered it via doordash but the extremely poor quality and lack of concern from the employee is unreasonable. DO NOT TRY.. I usually don’t write down good or bad reviews.. but this place deserves all the bad reviews they can.. food no taste.. I had to add lot of salt and mix with pickle to just make it eatable because I was hungry.. no service.. whole time no water .. no lights.. I get it there is natural light coming in but still .. place looks dead.. one lady sitting at end of the room on phone with headphones on.. I had to ask her for anything I need.. come on .. do better.. just like your food is priced in with place it’s located at then have courtesy to provide quality and service.. don’t act like people are doing u favor by coming to your restaurant…. This was such a great experience this is the second time I've visited this establishment the first time it was with my significant other and we had a very romantic evening looking out at the ocean and enjoyed really good Indian food being the end of food connoisseurs that we are.

We have had over now we're 30 Indian places together this time I was on a business trip just enjoying my night off and I went in and I ordered the sampler platter because I wanted to share with my friend and I had the Indian tea and at my request they added coconut milk they are very sensitive to my needs on my diet. I really appreciate that the service is great and I would definitely come back for the food as well especially the lamb...
