The Sandpiper Lounge — Restaurant in Laguna Beach

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. While in town from Tennessee visiting friends we walked into the bar to play pool. Immediately Brad walked over and asked for our IDs. My two friends both showed them theirs and I gave him mine. He then accused me of it not being me and asked for me to show him my credit cards. While pulling out my debit card with same name as shown on my drivers license he reached from across the pool table and put his hands into my wallet and attempted to pull out other cards. I then told him to get his hands out of my wallet and he shoved my friend towards the door and told us we were not welcome there. I am 28 years old and have NEVER experienced such a miserable and incompetent bar employee in my 7 years being of legal age to enter. Will never go back and will be sure to tell everyone...

The mostly locals Laguna Beach cultural icon. Charleston is probably the brightest bartender of all time. Need a stiff drink and a local dive bar, look no further then the legendary Dirty Bird. Sundays through Thursdays this is the place to be to hang out with locals. Friday and Saturdays it's like a College homecoming for all the Bros but it's still a goddamn fun time.

If you claim her a local to the bouncers, they'll charge you double. Try not to make fun of Santa Claus's beard. He's probably as nice a human being...

super shady experience when I went here. I lost a pair of sunglasses which is my fault yes but I called next day talked to a worker and they confirmed case and glasses were there and I could pick up. so I was so grateful they held onto them. keep on mind I live an hr away. I went to head down and called them before I arrived and they said the glasses were nowhere to be found. really lame they stole some glasses when they verified with me that they had them just tells alot about the people...
