El Pollo Loco — Restaurant in Laguna Hills

I came in at 12:00pm and there was a young Mexican guy at the cashier, I requested a corn street double chicken salad, but received a classic double chicken salad instead. Upon receiving the order, we politely informed him of the mistake. However, his response was dismissive and rude, insisting we ordered the classic salad instead. This interaction left me feeling disrespected and frustrated. While I understand misunderstandings can happen, it was evident that the cashier lacked enthusiasm for his job and exhibited an indifferent attitude. This may have contributed to the oversight in our order. The smallest burrito I’ve ever been served, I asked for chicken avocado and basically got half a cup of chicken with two small slices of avocado. I said hold the beans, etc. I just wanted protein and carbs but got served a humiliating burrito. They didn’t even have green salsa and I asked for chiles and didn’t get them I had to ask again. I’m sure working there sucks but don’t serve food at all if it’ll be served in this manner. For that burrito, a drink, and a small Mac and cheese I paid ~$14. I was about to drive back and return that kid sized burrito but my lunch time is limited. I wish I would have gone elsewhere. Attitude there sucked, too. In the end, my days not ruined. This place used to be really good. Now maybe due to Covid 19 they’ve decided not to cook chicken anymore. 4 out of the last 5 times I went they didn’t have the type of chicken or at 8:15 at night they won’t cook anymore. When they’re out they stop cooking even if they’re open for 45 more minutes. Went at 1:30 in the afternoon and was told at the drive thru they are out of chicken and it will be at least 20 minutes.
