BUYER BE AWARE: Food is Okay. The problem is that the owner is a crook!!! Please ask for a printed copy of your invoice before you pay. They cheat you by adding 4% to every item on your bill. So remember the prices on the menu or take photos of the menu and compare it with your bill. You will see a different price on your bill than what is actually on the menu. That is why they have this hand held device and they prefer not to show you anything. They just tell you your total. We have dinned here several times and noticed we pay a lot more than we expected, especially after they give you the device that has 18%, 20%, 22% tip added to it. So essentially if you pick 18%, you actually have paid them minimum of 22%. Also bread and tea are supposed to be free but if they feel like it, at times, they charge you for those as well. So if you don’t inspect the bill you would never know!!! We confronted the owner about the 4%. First of all he was very rude and unprofessional. Having no real answer, he said; that is the credit card fee we added to your bill. First of all no where in the restaurant or on the menu says you pay 4% more if you use a credit card to pay your bill. Second of all, we simply asked for a copy of the bill. How did they know how we were going to pay? May be we wanted to pay cash!!! They are crooks and want to get rich overnight. Why cheat? If you want to make an extra 4%, just add it to your food prices and people maybe okay with that, but don’t take advantage of your unsuspecting customers. Additionally Service is terrible and the waitress is very rude and un-attentive. We would never go back to this place again. It is a pity that an owner has a need to be so dishonest. What bothers me is that if you cheat people in this fashion, can anyone trust the food you serve? Will never go back!!! So...

My mom ordered the chicken with bone which she liked tremendously. 😋 She gave it 5/5. I give mine 5/5 also. 1/9/25 visit: I ordered the French fries and Ali Nazik this time. The eggplant that comes with Ali Nazik is out of this world good! 😋. The beef kobideh was tender and moist and with the sumac it’s really good. I also ordered the Mediterranean fries. Oh My Gosh. This was phenomenal. I can’t say enough good things about this restaurant. Their wait staff is also great. They are friendly and courteous. Thank you, Heaven On a Fork 🙂. Can’t wait to come here again. I went here for the first time yesterday because my aunt said she liked their food. I had the badhemjan dish which had eggplant, lentils and chunks of veal. The eggplant and lentil were delicious. It was spiced perfectly well. I thoroughly enjoyed it even though the veal was tough. It came with freshly baked bread and butter which was scrumptious. The service was decent. I got to order right away but no one came to check on me after I got my meal which was ok because the restaurant is small and if I needed to, I could get a hold of a server. I will definitely go back to try other dishes. There’s plenty of free parking. Came back with my mom and ordered Kase Kabab Bowl. It was delicious with a variety of meats. And I used their sumac they had on the table as a delicious condiment. Best sumac ever! Can’t wait to come back! Came back and tried their filet mignon which was spiced nicely but a bit overcooked. Still enjoyed it though. Planning on...
Read moreGreat value to flavor ratio. We visited on a busy Saturday evening and service was a little spotty, but the food more than made up for it. We were first given some housemade naan with butter. From the dining hall you could see a staff rolling out the naan dough and placing them in an oven, so I was excited to try it. The naan was sweet and fresh, my own qualm is that when it cooled it became stiff very easily, and would have preferred a house special dipping sauce over the butter.
The portions are huge, so we ordered one appetizer and one entree which was the perfect amount for two people. This restaurant has really gotten the texture of meat right; both dishes stood out for the tenderness of the protein. The koobideh was juice and soft, and the lamb neck was completely fall off the bone. The appetizer had a great smoky flavor, and the heaven stew had a rich tomato base. I think one area of improvement for me might be the diversity of spices; the eggplant was a good dipping sauce but had a slightly too overpowering garlic flavor and the pepper and tomato could be flavored with condiments other than salt to add layers, and I would have preferred the stew to have a slightly thicker consistency to...
