Yeogi Boba & Cafe — Restaurant in Laguna Hills

I stopped here on my way from Carlsbad to Norwalk because I knew I was going to hit traffic in the next few miles and was already feeling tired, after already having done a ton of driving in the few days prior. I was greeted up on entering by Jenny. She asked how I was doing and I told her I was tired and needed something to keep me going. She gave me some recommendations and I ended up getting an iced Spanish late with boba and an extra shot of espresso. I also grabbed their new passion fruit drink with boba for my daughter who was waiting outside in the car. We chatted while she made the drinks and she was so sweet, and encouraging, and just an awesome person. I told her I would definitely be back to visit and grab another drink when I'm in the area, as she's a few minutes drive from some of our family in Rancho Santa Margarita. My latte was strong and just what I needed, my daughter's drink was delicious (she let me try a sip), and the boba was fresh and the perfect texture. 10/10 recommend this place. I was literally just driving by and then I saw the sign for Boba and I almost freaked out because I was really thirsty so I thought that would be a great idea. The lady was very nice inside and was very attentive. I told her that I was ready to order and that if she had any recommendations so I ordered what she said and then she asked me if I wanted strawberry foam on top of it whatever that is, I have no idea. I just ordered it anyways and oh my gosh I will tell you guys I’ve had Boba everywhere all over the world. This is just so delicious. I had to leave a review. It was just incredible customer service Even though they didn’t have Boba and they ran out at the time and they didn’t have pastries at the moment because they were still opening and working on everything and getting it together, which I understand it was just a great experience and the taste of the drink was absolutely incredible!!!!!!!! And on top of that as a milk alternative, they do not charge extra for substituting so that was awesome 😎 I CAME BACK TODAY UGHHHH...

The service was great and the drinks were fantastic, but the boba itself was a letdown. First off, the staff was super friendly and the place has a really comfortable ambiance. You could easily hang out and chat with friends or settle in to get some school work done. Now, for the drinks. We stopped by on a hot day, and the jasmine milk tea was the best part of the visit. They absolutely nailed the balance of sweetness—it was so good. My son also loved his strawberry milk. I have to mention the logo, too; it's awesome and I'm definitely grabbing a sticker next time. My only real complaint was the boba. It was hard and all clumped together at the bottom of the cup, which was a genuine disappointment because the tea itself was perfect.
