Pull up to order in the drive thru. The lady never greeted us. She only said "are you ready to order". Ok, that kinda didn't sit well with me but took my order and never gave me a total or asked me to pull up so im assuming she got everything that I needed and im assuming I can start pulling to the window. My order had popped up briefly at the bottom of the menu and then went away quickly. So I pull to the first window. Again, never told me my total and never repeated my order. Took my card, swiped it. Im sitting there waiting for my receipt all while she's taking someone else's order. She looks over at me and says you can pull up. I said I need my receipt. She says, you'll have to get it at the second window, the machine is broken. I said well how much was my order she said $15 (and whatever the change was). I asked if that was for the 10pc nuggets and happy meal? She said yes, is that too much? No, not at all, I just want to make sure I'm paying for MY order since you never told me how much it was. Her response was quote "true, true". I pull up to the second window and lady hands me our order. I ask for a receipt. She then asks me to pull into spot #2 and they will bring it out to me because their machine is broken and they will have to find it. 🤯 No, I will wait here for it. She said well we have to serve the people behind you. I looked at her and said, they can wait. She goes and gets someone else who within a minute brings the receipt. Customer service from the drive thru menu, to the first window, to the second window = 2 stars. You...
Read moreWe just went through the drive thru of this location, and normally this is our go-to McDonald's, but tonight was a different experience. When we first arrived we sat at the speaker for about 12 minutes before our order was taken. No big deal. Got to the window to pay, used a large bill but no issues there. Once we got to the 2nd window everything changed. The girl working was not nice and never greeted us. Our hot fudge Sundae was forgotten but we reminded her about it.. when it was handed to us she didn't speak again and just pushed it to us. When we were waiting for it, we checked our bag to make sure everything was correct and we were missing a fry. Once handed our Sundae I politely mentioned the missing fries. She turned to the manager and told him, throwing her hands up and walking away... the manager, who had red hair and the beard to match, quickly threw a half filled fry into the bag and shoved it at us. The fries were old and cold and stale. If the attitude hadn't have been so rude from the staff, I would have got over the fries and wouldn't be here writing this. All through eating my meal all I could think about was the rudeness for something that wasn't even our fault and that we spent almost $30 for rude service...
Read moreTuesday, Sept. 26 around 10:00 I visited this McDonalds. I placed my order on the app as I always do. I waited at the menu speaker for a while. I was greeted right away but waited longer than usual for my order to be taken. So I pulled up to the serve window. I was greeted by a gentleman. Could have been the manager. I’m not sure. I didn’t get his name. He was kind and told me that they were short handed. From what I understood, there was only one other person working with him. I was reluctant I to wait but I decided too because he assured me that my order was coming up soon. It was a very welcome surprise to see this guy hustle to cars to bring them their food. It made my night because I don’t see this work ethic very often. I wish more workers were like this. He took pride in his job and I made sure to tell him that I noticed and appreciated him and his co-worker. Shout out to McDonalds on Nelson Road in Lake Charles!!!! Continue with that work ethic and it will take you very far. Thank you for showing me that it still exists. I was losing...
