Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Lake Charles

This location has some of the most incompetent people working, I'd be afraid of what they actually served you! I stop and order a Supersonic Breakfast combo. I forget a couple of pretzel twists, so I push the little red button again and order some. 10 mins later, yes 10 mins, I get the incorrect burrito, no mention of my pretzel twists.. I ask them to make my order right, they take the bag with my tatar tots and incorrect burrito.. another 8 mins later, they bring me back the correct burrito, but they didn't bring my tots back!! 18mins now, Again I ask the car hop about my tots and ask again for my pretzel twists... 7-8 mins later still nothing!! Mind you I'm at 25 - 26 mins now at a "fast food" restaurant for a breakfast burrito combo!!! Well, I left! I could not wait longer as I watch the two car hops go in and out without my tots or pretzel twists. To add insult to Injury, I call the manager about 10 mins after I leave and explain my situation and she offers to refund me a dollar!! 25 mins of my life and she offers me a dollar! No apology for her restaurants incompetence, nothing!! I stop for a breakfast burrito AND tots, I get the wrong burrito, then I get the right burrito but no tots and she expected me to wait while her incompetent kitchen make tots! 25 mins later, she has the nerve to tell me that I should have waited longer!!!! I went to Texas Roadhouse and got a steak and loaded potato and a steak salad for my wife in less time that it took Sonic the "fast food" restaurant took to get 75% of my order wrong and an insult!! Way...

It says to describe my experience. Well, it's so surreal, it might be somewhat difficult! I ordered a chicken dinner, as I am wont to do, and did not realize it was not fast food I was ordering, but ART! My "experience" began when I got back to work with my meal and opened the box. The smell of disgruntled employees assaulted my senses. And how did you KNOW I could relate to that? I had nothing to eat pretty much all day, so I dug in. The chicken took me down memory lane to when my weird Uncle would carry around a rubber chicken in his not so quick-witted attempts at humor. The texture, RIGHT ON! I cannot believe you captured that very essence from my childhood, Sonic. I pull out the gravy bowl, and "dip" my chicken piece into it. It REFUSED to stick to my chicken bit, much like the playdough in kindergarten. The consistency reminded me of my late grandmother who would hock loogies right out the back door, because tissues were for wusses. I began to think this meal is an exact reflection of my life to this point! I throw a tater tot into my mouth, and the cool, crunchy texture of refried potato goods was almost too good to be true! Like my mother, who refused to ever give up on me, you guys refried and refried those bad boys, knowing their full, uninhibited potential! SPOT ON! NEVER come to this sonic at all. I wouldnt even come here if it was 150°F outside, and on fire. They would probably get a cup of water wrong if it was up to them. Not recommended because not only do they mess up 3 times in a row but they wanna charge you to fix it. You can watch them staring dead at you and laughing while you take a bite. We confront them for laughing then another worker tries to defend them and cusses us out. This the type of sonic that charge a dollar for a drop of whip cream. Don't ever come here go to the one on prien lake rd they know to make a simple shake.

(Update) We went to the sonic on Prien lake rd and the gave us a way better service. They gave us a new shake filled to the top, and with whipped cream unlike the other one. We ended up giving them the shake we had got from the other location and they inspected it for us. Turns out they had busted holes all over the bottom of the cup and covered it with stickers.
