If I could rate this Resturant with NO STARS - I would. On June 20, 2021 we visited Lake Charles Olive Garden and it was a horrible experience. We waited at the door for over 30 minutes for someone to finally acknowledge us. We then were seated with just menus. Our waitress then came and took our drink and appetizer order. Well I ordered a Arnold Palmer (sweet tea & lemonade) but when it came it tasted funny and I was told they were out of sugar so it was an unsweet tea. Next the appetizer arrived calamari and it tasted as if it sat in grease and was rewarmed and fried batter residue was what we received & we still had not even been given silverware and had to wait for someone to come back around to ask for some. It was crazy. When ordering our food we kept being stopped to say we don’t have that, we are out of that, or our warehouse closed and they didn’t send us anything. When the salad came out, I asked where the onions were and the waitress replied oh we out of those. Then I asked for cheese to be grated on the salad and she replied oh we out of that too. I asked for breadsticks and she said oh they making some but I’ll See if I can get 2 from somewhere. By this time other patrons were saying oh they don’t have this they don’t have that etc etc. We tried to make the best of it and order food but when it arrived it was missing so many ingredients. We were just over it and ready to go by this time. I asked for to go plates and guess what the lady said we have the bottoms and no tops but we have foil we can give you. So we left with our meals wrapped in foil like we had Ben to someone’s home. Sad part we never saw a manager to address issues. Funny but not funny for 80 that was a sad meal. Never again will Lake Charles have to worry about me I would drive to Lafayette instead.

Nothing about a 75$ meal should be this bad. Ordered and was charged for the make your own appetizer combo, yet one 1 was available. Charged for 2. Waited didn't want to give us a credit. Ordered margaritas and the ice and Kool aid mixture was so watered down it was weak yellow water. Salad had soggy croutons, chicken Alfredo was said to have 50% more chicken. There was 6 thin slices of chicken and hard, yes hard cold noodles. We had 4 bites. Yuk. My husband's dish was noodles with shrimp, they forgot the sauce. Nothing was on it. We waited for our waiter so we could get same for his meal but he just didn't return. 75$ was robbery. Why don't you ever change your food prep?? Why is it cold at these prices? Why is the salad wilty and the croutons soggy? Why we're the noodles so hard? How could you forget the sauce on a noodle dish? Why is your bread always hard on the ends?

Im between 3 and 4 stars bc we were stuck in a back room were it was 15 degrees cooler than where everyone else sat and the whole fam froze to death couldnt enjoy or food bc it immediately got cold from it being what felt like 50 degress and when asked them to turn off the ac in the winter they just told us the manager would only turn it off which they did for maybe 10 mins then they cracked it back up. Hard to enjoy cold food and to literally be frozen alive while you eat... Oh btw you have to call ahead (liked that part) to put your name on the list then you go in to tell them you arrived and they text you when your table is ready. Wasnt worth the $70 dollar for my family of 5. Will not be returning to this one.

We went for a date night dinner on a Saturday night around 6:45 pm. We were seated after a 5 minute wait. I'm not sure why wr had to wait, seeing as there was literally no one there. I saw maybe 5 other couples and 3 families of 4 or 5 in the whole building. We were seated in the area to the left side of the building in a 2-4 person booth. There were 3 booths around us that the bottom cushion portion of the seat was pulled up, and you could see the wood box underneath. That was strange and not a nice sight to see. We were seated and ordered drinks ,2 Dr. Pepper. We also ordered a spinach dip as well. It took no time to get our drinks. It did take forever to get anything else. We started off with a nice younger woman with braids in her hair taking our order. Each time we needed refills or something brought to the table, she was nowhere to be found. We had to ask another 2 people we saw working to get us drinks and more salad. I ordered soup salad and breadsticks while my husband ordered the eggplant Parmigiano. When she did bring our main dishes. She brought mine first, and we waited at least 8-10 minutes for my husband's to come out. When she brought it out and placed it on the table, she added cheese. Come to find out, this wasn't even my husband's food. She brought spaghetti and meatballs, which were the man next to us meal. We noticed that she was waiting hand and foot on the older couple a few tables away, but we couldn't get bare minimum service from her. When she did finally bring my husband's food, he said it was delicious and fresh. We asked for more bread to go with our meal. We got the bread 20 minutes later as we were asking for boxes to take our food home. We were tired of waiting for things and had plans for after dinner. We were there almost 2 hours total and was almost late for our later engagement. The food was great, and the service was terrible. We don't go to dinner together often, and this is what my husband asked for. The prices on their menu are outrageous as well. A steak with pasta was 16.99 while a bowl of chicken alfredo was 21.99 , something doesn't make sense here. The amount we spent here we could have supported a local business we love much better for a...

My husband and I ordered a to go delivery order on August 6th through the website. When it arrived it was missing an entire entree we paid over $20 for. I immediately called to see if it was left and if we could get a refund somehow. The girl I spoke with said she would leave my name and number and have a manager call me back as soon as possible. About 30-40 min passed and I hadn't heard back, so I called again. The same employee then answered now saying the manager wasn't there and he would call me the next day. On the 7th by 5pm, I still hadn't heard back, so I called again. I was able to reach the manager on duty, "Archie", who then asked for my email because he said it would take too long to go through the previous nights orders. I spent the next 10 minutes repeatedly spelling out my email letter by letter even using phonetic language and repeating at least 4-5 times that it was my name, which was on the order. When he finally got it, he said I would receive a gift card, to which I asked if I could just get a refund. He then laughed and said he didn't need my email for that, only the last 4 of the card number. Mind you I originally asked for a refund. By the 12th I still hadn't received a refund, so I called again. This type I spoke with the General Manager, Mary, who was much more helpful. She explained that she could issue a refund, but it would take about 72 business hours to go through, since apparently Archie never refunded me and therefore the ticket/purchase was closed. I said thank you, assuming this was the end of it. It is now the 25th of August and I have yet to receive a refund. I tried calling again today and could not hear anything due to the phones being so poor. I managed to get across I wanted to speak with the manager, Mary, but was still sent back to Archie. My next attempt will be to try calling before evening in hopes Mary can actually fix the issue this time. If not, my next step is the better business bureau. I don't think I am asking for much, just to be refunded for something I did not receive! I worked in customer service for years and understand the struggle, but seriously someone should be able...

NEVER WILL BE BACK! The place smells like wet dog and sour mop water all around. The air vent at our table was leaking water where we were eating and despite many open booths for the three of us we were seated at a 5-seat table in a noisy, dirty dining area.

My biggest complaint is our waitress. Being the only white people in the entire room it was clear where her prejudice lies. She slammed our plates on the table in front of us and took FOREVER to service us. We sat there for a solid 30 minutes with no drinks, salad, or bread sticks. I get it the restaurant was busy but despite the lunch rush she continued to wait the tables with people of color first and gave us sidelong glances. When my grandmother stopped her as she was leaving the dining area she requested that we needed more soup, drinks, and bread sticks. The waitress huffed and closed her eyes in frustration, giving my grandma a rude stare before disappearing. When she came back with our soup and drinks, my grandma reminded her of the bread sticks since she seemed busy and the waitress told her "They're in the oven!" in a very rude tone. When we had our bread sticks she didn't apologize for the wait or anything, just plopped them on the table without a word. I would give her slack if she had a bad day, but this isn't the first time she did this to us. On another occasion she made us wait an hour before ordering and another hour before we for our ticket. It was just us two people. She needs an attitude adjustment and maybe this place shouldn't hire bigoted and racist people because your customers don't control the color of their skin, black or white and in between.

We talked to the manager and he seemed very caring and handled the situation well, but the treatment here is unacceptable. Previous times we had great servers that made sure we were fine the entire time and kept us refilled on drinks and food. This woman however, shouldn't get disciplined but fired since she's been complained about before, and even the table across from us whispered about how she was rude. Overall I'm very disappointed and will opt for another place to eat instead of...
