I would give zero stars but that's not an option. I went to eat around 430 pm today and had the worst experience I've ever had at a restaurant. First thing that was wrong, my waiter refilled my soda and put a lemon in it that I did not ask for and then tried to play it off like Dr. Pepper comes with lemon "sometimes" as he said. second my waiter was at the table next to mine and was bitching to himself about the customers not leaving him a big enough tip. It took forever to even pay our ticket to get out of the place about 15 minutes or so even when I would put my elbow on the table and hold my card up where he could see it. and lastly, my biggest issue, there was a half inch width and inch long equipment metal BOLT IN MY FOOD!!!! The manager seemed confused as did my family but didn't offer to comp my meal until a few minutes after telling me I don't know how this happened and what peice of equipment this was. Then they took my one dish off when I feel they should have gave my kids and husband and all of us our meal no charge. Even though it was not her fault she offered to make the food herself. They re made my meal for me but if I would have bitten into the buffalito taco things without seeing the damn bolt it would have no doubt broke all my teeth where I would have bitten down and the company would be under a huge lawsuit and would be paying for my dental reconstruction. I could have broke my teeth or even choked on the damn bolt. I felt like they thought it was no big deal that they served me A BOLT in my food. I was a waitress before myself and I know that there is a way to keep things like this from happening. It is not only a cooks responsibility but also the waiter or whoever brings the food to make sure everything looks correct as it was ordered and in this case make sure there is no objects in the food that do not belong. This is the scariest experience I've ever had at a restaurant in my entire life. I will NEVER EVER eat at any Buffalo wild wings in the future again if this is how the franchise trains people to be careless with other people's food, drinks, and satisfaction. If a huge bolt the size of my pinky finger could wind up in my food and be served to me what else could be in my food? Please do not go here for the fear of breaking your teeth or choking on huge metal objects hidden in food.
And this is my second time posting my review looks like someone tried to delete it so I will keep posting this and make sure more people know. I have wrote to corporate and did the surveys and I have made the franchise aware of this. Hopefully they will enforce or change rules and regulations regarding what is acceptable and unacceptable to serve to consumers and be more strict and choose who works for them more carefully instead of being...
Read moreMe and two bandmates of mine stopped in for a quick bite before going to work. We thought this was the place, but we should've gone anywhere else.
Sections of the restaurant were closed, and there was a large group, a baseball team I'd guess, but they were already eating, so we thought that we'd be in and out with not much else going on. NOT!
The waitress was nice enough at first. We even good naturedly laughed at her joke about Mexicans being used to spicy because we asked about spice levels. One of us is half Honduran half white, and I like spicy, but not before a gig. LOL!
Order in and the wait begins. At some point we begin to wonder where our waitress and food were. I mean, at best, it takes 20 minutes to cook wings and our soft drinks had been consumed. We were about to ask for our waitress when the food arrived about 35 minutes later, and it was not good.
Our food had to have been sitting back there for at least 15 minutes. It was cold and my fries looked like the staff had been eating them because maybe they thought it was fair game because it must have sat there so long. All that was left were the smaller crumb-like ones that hardly anyone eats. The food wasn't even brought by our waitress, AB. So we asked for the manager, and that's when AB made her appearance and the manager, Dominic, right behind her. We found out he was the general manager later. We told him what happened, and he said he'd take care of it right away.
Twenty or so minutes later, still no making it right. No apologies, no drink refills, no nothing.
Twent-5 minutes later, he is at the bar, talking to the bartender, and one of our party went to ask what the holdup was. It was getting late and we needed to get to work. I said, "We should just go." Another manger with him said that they were just waiting on fresh fries. Really? That's the excuse after another 25 minutes? After a sec, we told the manager we're leaving, to which he flippantly replied, "Have a nice day."
We left, upset about the whole experience but found a place down the road, Daddy's. A drive through seafood and chicken place. Fast, friendly, and we were able to scarf our food just in time to high tail it to work.
Never again, when we're back in LC for work, will we ever go to Buffalo Wild Wings. From top to bottom, terrible food and and horrible service. One would think at least the GM would care about one of his restaurants. I'd remove the one star I gave them, but it is required in order to leave a review.
Zero stars for BWW, BIG...
Read moreMy husband and I made a spur of the moment decision to have lunch out. Buffalo Wild Wings was close, and we had not eaten there in over a year. So, I quickly made a phone call and found out that Thursday was Bogo on boneless wings. It is also mentioned on their Facebook site.
We had arrived around 11:40 AM and as we made our way up to the front door, I noticed that the mat in front of the doors was a total mess. The dirt and mud had been carried into the waiting area. Subtle cues about how clean or dirty a restaurant is can leave a lasting impression on the customers. So right off the top Buffalo Wild Wings needs to do a better job of checking their outdoor spaces.
Once inside we were seated immediately. Payton Nacole was our server. She was very courteous and helpful with making our selection. We ordered water, Bogo Boneless snack (Parmesan Garlic & Honey BBQ). $9.49 Without looking back at the menu we ordered a basket of Salt & Vinegar Fries. There fries are always good, however they are outrageously priced $5.79. There were only 6 tables that were occupied including ours. What I did find concerning was the wait time for our food to come out. A couple that came in about 5-10 minutes after we were seated, received their entrĂ©e at the same time that we did. Why that bothered me, Iâm not sure, maybe I was still thinking about how dirty it was when we walked in.
Our food was delicious. It had the right amount of seasoning and the temperature was perfect. I could have used a knife to cut each wing into, but that was not provided in the utensils that they gave to us and I just didnât bother asking. It is still a great value for two people ($16.84) even with the pricy fries.
Great service and delicious food are not always enough to ensure a restaurantâs success. After all, before a guest can evaluate the food or service, they need to notice the restaurant and decide to go in. Itâs up to management to make their restaurant exterior as attractive as possible. A restaurantâs curb appeal is something management should consider just as important as the interior, menu, and staff. The dining experience begins before guests even walk through the doors. Just as people judge books by their covers, they will inevitably judge a restaurant by...
