Beware . . . beware! For my family, the lunch rush meant lots of attitude and problems. First, because I ordered a kid's meal for myself (wasn't very hungry) the cashier, K.L. (initials only), gave my wife an extra order of attitude to go along with it, no extra charge. (How dare a grown adult eat kids' food!) Next, my daughter, a vegetarian requested for the chicken and blue cheese to be "put on the side" of her salad. Another free order of attitude was given when the cashier sneered, "We don't do . . . THAT." When my wife asked why, K.L. repeated, "We DON'T DO THAT.!" After a few questions and no answers, the blue cheese was deleted (but I wanted it!) and my daughter was to have to pick the chicken off of the salad; thankfully, I was there to eat it . . . BUT this meant that my daughter ate the remaining salad, picking AROUND the remants of chicken---not the most appetizing thing for somebody who doesn't eat meat. Next, everything that was forgotten and never made the tray!! First, the almonds and granola (little packages), clearly printed on the ticket, did not make it to the table--sadly--nor did my sauce for my nuggets, and one frozen diet lemonade. However, since we were dining in--the cashier thought it was a "to go" order--I braved the crowd at the front to get these condiments,, etc. Oh, and did I mention the problems with the drinks? We ordered a Diet Coke and Dr. Pepper but as they were unmarked and since my wife has diabetes, I did not want her to get any sugar. So on this trip I was seeking a drink, condiments, and to exchange two mystery drinks. Since that teenage girl refused to look at me, I went to the counter to ask for a manager. The manager, Jimmy, was totally in the weeds but he did step away and visit the table where he told us he was sorry and that he'd had some issues with employee attitudes. By the time I got everything that was originally forgotten, except for the blue cheese (MIA), my waffle fries and nuggets were horribly cold and disgusting. (I closed my eyes and pretended I was at one of the other chicken fast food joints.) Hey, my bill was $28.85 and I just wanted it to be done right--not too much to ask for, is it? We drove past all of those other fast food restaurants because of staffing / service issues---for this??? I can tell you that this Chick-fil-A was NOT understaffed, as there were MANY employees outside, behind the counter, on drive through, in the back preparing food, and in the lobby walking around asking "How is everything?" Since I was about 1/2 way through my 500-mile drive, I bit my tongue and said "Fine" but we did let the manager know EVERYTHING but all he got us was a genuine, "I am sorry." I guess that even from this chain, that is all that you can expect these days. I will not be stopping again, not for this price. Heck, I can get this kind of service at McDonald's for half...
Read moreThey were very busy last night but I’ve always known them to be efficient even at their busiest times.. so it was a tiny disappointment with the attentiveness they showed last night the person who gave me my food seemed quite frazzled gave me everything I ordered but my milkshake so I mentioned it was missing and she said “oh yes sorry I will go get it” so she went to the window but I guess she completely forgot because she went on serving out other cars orders until eventually after about 15-20 mins she came back to my car and said “sorry what’s the name?” I was a bit shocked she forgot she ever gave me anything my whole suv my face and my name.. it gives me concerns about management and how many hours this girl had been working outside I feel like they should have recognized she was overwhelmed and exhausted and let her switch with someone inside it might have helped the wait time for a lot of people. But anyway when i reminded her I was just waiting for a milkshake she said so sorry again, and again said she would go get it. At this point I had been waiting so long with no drink because it’s the one thing they didn’t give me so I asked if a could have a soda for the wait she said of course so she came back with a soda faster than ever and just in case I said to her again, your going to get the milkshake though right? She said yes walked away. AGAIN no one knows I’m missing a milkshake another 15 mins go by finally a different girl sees a milkshake that has been sitting this whole time waiting to be taken she asks her coworkers they are all looking strangely at this milk shake holding it up in the air trying to read the sticker with the order name and at last the person who was actually supposed to bring it in the first place runs over to point out my car to her coworkers and say that is who the shake belongs to. So they bring me the shake. Keep in mind it had been ready this whole time left to melt while everything I had already got was left to get cold. Honestly I wanted them to remake me the entire meal at this point the cherry was sunk to the bottom of this thick milk all my food was cold overall this was a bad experience the only reason i didn’t express all this was because I could see that girl was already distressed as well as everyone behind me would have been if I held the line.. I hope Chick-fil-A will make this right. It was impossible for the food to taste fresh while being...
Read moreThe good part of this review is that the food was very hot and was good, not great but good.
I enjoy leaving positive reviews and generally refrain from negative ones unless there are some major issues that maybe could help the business if they get a customers opinion.
There were many things that we did not enjoy from this restaurant. It seemed like there were lots of people working, more than you'd see at other fast food places, and thought the non-traditional two-lane drive-thru with employees taking the order in person rather than through the speaker would be more efficient. But it definitely was not. The guy that took our order seemed to know very little about the Chick-fil-A menu which is a problem because we aren't familiar with it either and there was no menu board to look at that was visible from where we were having our order taken. We were not offered any kind of menu and to ask to see the menu sheet. When we asked some questions about the menu, the employee told us "I'm not familiar, I just work here" and told us the only thing he has ever ordered was the nuggets. Other things were said too that a business owner or manager would think wouldn't be acceptable for an employee who should promote the business.
We waited longer than normal for a fast food restaurant to get our food after it was ordered and our order was messed up in multiple ways. The receipt showed the order was correct, but there were several things and condiments that were asked for that did not come. I tried calling the restaurant to let them know and did not receive an answer on the telephone. I walked up to the doors and they were locked so I couldn't go in. I then had to walk up to the employee at the drive-thru window to notify them of the multiple items missing from our order.
They took care of the issues and were pleasant and polite about it but we were not impressed and will likely not go to another Chick-fil-A...
