Good service and the food was similar to every McDonald's that follows corporate policy. Friendly crew.
REVISED REVIEW 2025
Sadly I must update this review for February 11, 2025, at approximately 9:48 pm Lake City FL. I ordered a Quarter Pounder w/Cheese using my reward points in the drive-thru. It was a single vehicle in front of me.
After about 7 minutes of waiting for that vehicle to be served, I pulled up to the delivery window. She asked me what I ordered and I said "A Quarter Pounder w/Cheese " She looked surprised and said No Way! The person in front of me received their order and mine.
I had to pull up and park. Waiting for over 10 more minutes I shut my vehicle off and went inside.
Waiting for several minutes for someone to notice me at the front counter area I mentioned that I was still waiting for my order.
They yelled back again to order a QP/Cheese. 24 minutes is what it took to finally receive my sandwich and be on my way.
It was bland tasting with no ketchup or mustard. I thought what a waste of my time and reward points. McDonald's Should go back the the original Quarter meat patties they used to serve before they switched to a new Patty around 2018
As a person who traveled nationally installing POS systems for McDonald's corporate and franchise stores with systems such as IBM, Panasonic, Javelin, and ICL/Fujitsu we focused on software and hardware that guaranteed quicker drive-thru times. The right bag right car, etc... I guess that system isn't a priority anymore as drive-thru times are terrible in many places today.
I love McDonald's Corporation but sad to see service suffering these days. Hire more people for front counter and prioritize the drive-thru times!
Is it too many Foo-Foo Coffee's and other time-consuming to make drinks/foods contributing to the long wait times?
Maybe get back to the basics that made you famous worldwide đ
Don't reinvent the burger...go back to the original products and ingredients/beef that allowed you to change your signs from millions to...
Read moreI hardly eat here because every time I do, itâs always something. Whether itâs bad attitudes, service, or food. So I choose to spend my money elsewhere. Well I was in need of a job and heard they were hiring. I attended orientation from 3-5p and was told to wait for the manager to come back and get our names and numbers. It was already passed 5pm. We waited there for about 15 mins for another women (not the manager) to have us write our info down and I had my ride waiting outside. They donât have A/C so I had figured they had my info, I was trying to be respectful of my ride waiting. They had already been out there for 20 mins. So I had to leave. Never received a call back. I did get two emails two days after attending orientation asking for more info and even set me up for direct deposit. I tried calling their store number well over 10 times within the first week of attending orientation. Now Iâm going on three weeks without a job because I thought it would be a quick process to get me on. I knew a current employee there and asked if she could see whatâs going on with their phones because my calls will not go through. They still wonât to this day. Not sure if they unplug the phone around lunch because it wonât even ring now or if Iâm blocked. But after asking the current McDonaldâs employee to see whatâs going on with their phones, I was told I had to contact the manager. How am I supposed to do that when your store phones wonât go through and I wasnât given any contact information. In fact I wasnât given anything. Shows me thereâs better opportunities out there because this oneâs not for me. I feel it could have been handled differently and by the review already online, Iâm kind of glad it didnât work out. Same reason I was leaving Waffle House. They need...
Read moreOrdered through the drive through at about 2:15am. Their drive thru used to be equipped with a screen for accuracy of orders, to prevent any mistaken orders. With the screen being gone, I would think it would be essential to have your employees read back the order, again for accuracy. We wait in the drive through to pay with 2 cars in front of us for about 10 minutes. We get our food and drive home, unpack our bag and realize the first item I ordered, wasnât in there. So we head back to the store to get our order fixed. Once I get to McDonaldâs, I go inside and explain to the manager. The first thing he said in a very accusing tone, well was it on your recipe. I hadnât checked, I pull out my receipt to see it was missed completely. He then told me that I needed to pay for it, even though his employee failed to take an order correctly, and he failed to verify that our order was correct. I didnât bring my wallet the second time around and I explained to him there was no way I was driving back home and back again to get this fixed. When I pointed out that it is HIS and his employees responsibility to accurately take and review orders he then allowed a âcompedâ food item. The whole interaction was very rude, he made me feel like it was my fault for his employees mistake. He was not friendly nor understanding, he had assumed I just wanted free food which wasnât the case.
We get home at about 3:05 from the second trip, my boyfriend opens his sandwiches and they are completely wrong. We didnât even bother calling back to get it fixed or alert the manager because he has made it obvious, his staff can do no wrong. The easiest way to fix their terrible management and/or customer service skills would be to avoid this restaurant...
