IHOP — Restaurant in Lake Elsinore

Very disappointed in service this morning. Arrived at 8:00 am, noticed that the paring lot was kind of empty.... we were seated right away, however sat there for a few minutes without any type of acknowledgement from any of the servers. I asked the bus boy who was the waitress and pointed to a waitress that seem kind of busy, still with no acknowledgement, we decided to go to the front counter and asked to be re seated, the manager Jose Barajas said someone would come over to our get our order, the front desk hostess did bring coffee, but that was it, no one came back to take our orders, I asked a waiter across the way if this was his table in which he commented it was not, we flagged the hostess again, she was once again very apologetic so I asked to see the manager, I mentioned to Jose of the poor service and he needed to run a tighter ship.... so we left and went to another restaurant. There are plenty of restaurants that would be very happy to...

Me and my kids went to this hop, My waitress name was Victoria she took out order brought out food after she put our food on table she ran to the front food cold, she didnt give us no utensils or napkins,I thought she will come back like in a couple of minutes after the food was given so to see if we needed anything I waited 10 min nothing so I get up and get utensils from someone thats walking out the kitchen.i go back and we eat food cold smh but my kids ready to go so I didn't complain.remind you the whole time we eating the waitress never came to check on us at ALL so we finished I wait 15 mins for a check and nothing so I get up and go to the cashier and pay on my way out the door and cold part about I was goin to give a big tip but I didn't leave anything the food was nasty my pancakes were hard smh I will never return to this...

I'm not one to give one star reviews, I think it is harsh, here is why. I ordered to go 25 minutes prior to entering when told it woulf be ready in 20 minutes. It was christmas day, so we understood that there may be further delay but it took double that time to recieve it. Our waiter helping us get our order was new, which I have no issue with, but she was drowing and no was coaching her. To top it off an employee had an argument with what seemed to be managment almost in the open. The morale of the staff seemed very low. The food was terrible. We asked for real eggs, got dry bottle eggs, my omlette was dry and burnt, the pancakes were as well. We spent $50 for three of us and got a horrible experience in total.
