This place has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I would give them zero stars if I could. I stopped ordering from them a while back due to the service and recently decided to give them another try. Needless to say they have disappointed me once again.
I made an order for delivery and was missing an item. I called back to figure out the situation and was told that I had to go in for the missing item. When I requested for a refund, I was denied saying it had to go through DoorDash even though it was charged to them. I couldn’t even speak to a manager after asking to speak to one. I had to spend an hour and a half with DoorDash customer service only to be told in the end that I indeed had to get my refund from Panera.
Unfortunately, like mentioned, this isn’t the first time I’ve had issues with this particular location. They are always messing up my order and when I ask for the missing items, I receive attitude and horrible treatment from the workers. There was a time that an employee accused me of trying to get free items as she was “unable to find my order” in the system while the workers in the back tried fighting me about it too.
I tried giving them a second chance as I figured this was a new location and workers are still new, but it has been a while now and the issues I have experienced in the past are still there today. The workers never hold themselves accountable for their own mistakes or even apologize to their customers. What also upsets me the most is that after experiencing such horrible customer service, managers still have the audacity to tell me to give them 5 star ratings and write good...
Read moreI love Panera... but this one?! I will NEVER be going back. The manager couldn't be bothered to help his staff when they were clearly busy at the registers. There were six people in line, one register open and the manger came out and told the only employee working to go on his break, sending another person out to take his place but not opening another register. While I was there, he walked through the restaurant 5 times, never spoke to anyone just seemed to lurk and never took care of the dirty tables that needed to be cleaned. If you are eating in the restaurant this Panera does not bring your food to the table rather you have to go get it when the table buzzer goes off. When we ordered, the lady who took over the guy who went on break was having to answer questions asked by her manager and forgot to put in the buzzer number for our order. 20 minutes and a soggy sandwich later, I went up to the window and was told they didn't know who the meals belonged to so they had just let them sit there. Yes, they redid the meals but still sloppy! Success happens from the top down and clearly the manager isn't...
Read morelistennnn! yall need to just go ahead and close this panera bread down or hire a whole new staff! matter of fact, throw them allll away! the customer service is horrible. h-o-r-r-i-b-l-e. last week, i only ordered soup and was given a pick up time, i even gave them grace and waited a few extra minutes and it still wasnt ready. i could have sworn the soup is already pre-made?! to make matters worse, the staff in the back having a good ol time, talking and laughing until i asked them about my order and they just proceed to say "its almost ready" ... but waitttttt, theres more! today i ordered chicken noodle soup again (i believe in 2nd chances lol) of course its not ready at the time given so i give "grace" and wait 10 minutes for her to give me a bag with two pepsis in it (not my order) ...at this point im thinking to myself "Jesus give me the patience!! im officially done with this lake elsinore panera bread! as a business owner, everybody would be fired this doesn't make any sense. im mad i had to even leave a star, they need a negative...
