COSMO Liquor — Local services in Lake Forest

What an awesome experience; This is a fantastic liquor store with amazing ownership that truly cares for their customer base. I stopped in on a whim to take a look at their bourbon selection and let me tell you, this place has everything you could ask for if you are into bourbon/ American whiskey.

I had the opportunity to talk with the owner who is a bourbon collector himself. We talked bourbon for a bit and he offered some of his recommendations and let me know of upcoming store picks he and his staff had made. I came away extremely happy with the experience and cannot recommend this place enough.

This store charges a fee of 59 cents if you are paying with a credit card no matter how small the sale is. This is illegal in California since July 1, 2024.

When I told the sales clerk that it is illegal to charge fees on credit card transactions by a liquor store in California he bluntly told me that they don't care about the law and they would charge me that fee no matter what. So I actually bought a can of beer for $1.81 and was charged a 59 cents fee for paying with a credit card plus taxes of 19 cents with a total...

Whoa! This place is a gem in a hidden plaza of Lake Forest.

I am not one for liquor stores but lemme tell ya, this location has a looooot of alcohol to choose from and a looooot of sales to go with it. You’ve got your bottles and your cans and they even have this neat beer cave you can go into if you’re into that sort of stuff.

They do have a variety of puff bars and lotto tickets here as well. Whenever we get Thai food in this plaza, we like to make a point of stopping here just to see what kind of goods they...
