Center Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Lake Forest

I was on my way to grab a quick dinner from one of the other restaurants in the center, when the glare from several huge flatscreen TVs caught my husbands eye and we stumbled upon the Center Bar during its soft open. We were pleasantly surprised to discover a new sports bar was opening in our foothill ranch community. As far as sports bars go, there’s not many great options in this area - after our experience tonight, we are looking forward to making the Center our new hangout!

Im so excited to have a new spot where I can enjoy a good drink, watch sports and get to know the neighbors and locals. The boss, Hoss, was extremely friendly and welcoming, and asked for feedback on our visit as he prepares for their grand opening. We ordered the buffalo cauliflower, flatbread and black bean sliders - standard bar food but it did not disappoint. The bar also has a good sized selection of beer, wine and liquor.

We are eager to see this bar/restaurant thrive and enjoy Sunday football and happy hours during the week. One thing I hope management considers is allowing dogs on the patio, and adding a shuffleboard/pool table/darts/etc. at...

I'm not rating this place 4 stars because they deserve it, rather I would like them to succeed and it will be difficult for that to happen with how this place is run now. The menu needs some work, it is extremely limited and there's nothing really good that stands out. I want to see a few good quality burgers, a few good appetizers and some tasty desserts. The drink menu also needs a lot of work. They rely too heavily on classics but they don't do them as good as anywhere else. The mule doesn't come in a copper mug, the espresso martini has no garnish. Actually none of the drinks came with any garnish at all. The hostess was cute and accommodating. The service is slow, but friendly. The ambiance is cool with lots of tvs. The music on the weekends really makes the place almost desirable. Just please work on the food and drinks, you almost have a really rocking restaurant! I'll be back in a year, I want to like this place, please iron out...

This was my first time at Center Bar and I liked that it looked & smelled clean when we arrived at 6pm. It has the feel of a casual Sports Bar so you don't need to dress up. Lovely outdoor patio with heat lamps is available and also a nice long bar! There is also a separate dining area on one side where they have a stage for Live music. There was a great Creedance band playing, and they were really good! We all had a really fun time & food was good too. Foothill Ranch has become pretty pricey, and this place is right in Foothill.
