Krave kobe burger grill — Restaurant in Lake Forest

Patty was a little thin but it was good. Lettuce had the root in it which is that crunchy tasteless white part of the lettuce. Bummer. Bacon was fried so it had no taste and was teeth breaking crunchy. 2 bucks extra? Bummer. Fries are clearly fresh cut (good) but they had no seasoning. Bummer. Soda machine kept spitting suds at me and filled my cup with mostly foam. Bummer. Owner was there and possibly working by himself?? But he was friendly. I did tell him I was giving a review. But I told him after he made the food. He was super nice after but if he made the food, I'm sorry to say but if he made it, he didn't seem to care too much about how it was prepared. The lettuce rib was poking out of the front of the burger. Really no reason to miss that. He talked to me about the bacon for 5 minutes because he knew it was not good. He was trying to explain to me. Buddy...I just spent 15 bucks on a burger and used my appetite on it. All the explaining in the world isn't really going to make me change my mind. Maybe if he offered something but yeah, this is why I usually avoid telling anyone about a bad experience. They will just give lip service but if they really cared, they would not have done it in the first place. I'm sorry. I know that times are tough but that goes both ways. My time and money are more important to me than some guy that's trying to cut corners to survive that I have never met before. I can almost bet that if I told him I was doing a review before he made it that he would have made it better. But who knows? All I know is that they are struggling and it shows. Sorry. Just...

This place is decent enough, but I don't feel compelled to return. Especially given the frustration involved in parking near here.

Sliders were great! Flavors were awesome and it was well cooked Klassic burger was tasty. We requested it medium (their recommendation), but it came medium rare. We were ok with this, but if you really cared about meat temp, I can see someone getting pretty frustrated We got all three sides which was nice to get to try them. I learned I'm not a kennebec potato fan as the regular fries were not for me. The onion rings were decent, but it seemed to be the luck of the draw on which one you ate (some were uncooked, some were fantastic). The sweet potato fries were quite tasty, definitely our favorite of the three Their slightly spicy sauce that came with the trio (kinda cheesey, kinda peppery) was amazing. Really...

The burgers are great but I have also tried the salads and I must say they are phenomenal! Not only are they very tasty but they truly are big enough to make a couple of meals out of. I have had both grilled chicken as well as the grilled steak on my salads and it is a toss up as to which I prefer. The chicken is grilled and is super juicy and flavorful, it is definitely not just boring plain chicken. I also really like the Klassic cheeseburger. The fries are fresh and if you enjoy onion rings well then give theirs a try, they make them themselves and plenty of different sauces to appease your taste buds. Definitely on my list of places to stop...
