Was really excited to try this sushi because I’m local and have been looking for a local sushi spot for lunch, pricing wasn’t too bad but the sushi was definitely not the best , sushi rice was soggy , excessive amount of spicy mayo on two rolls and flavor was just not there for me . Have lots of experience with many sushi places and this sushi was just not good . Really wish this place was good because it looks like a family business and I want them to succeed but sushi was …a disappointment overall. I appreciate the friendly service and the effort that clearly goes into running a small, local business, but unfortunately the quality just didn’t match the potential. The soggy rice and overpowering sauces took away from the freshness and balance that good sushi should have. I didn't know about this "hidden gem" until recently. I was heading to Mr. Pickles for a sandwich (one of the best sandwich spots) and saw Wow Sushi & Poki Bowl just two doors from Mr. Pickles and thought I would give it a try. I am so glad that I did. One of the best poki bowls that I have ever had. Everything tasted very fresh and flavorful. Great choices for add-ons. The restaurant is sparkling clean and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. If you are in the area and like sushi and Poke Bowls this is a must try.
