I don't know if the lady boss remember me or not but I miss her and the chefs and the waitress friend? And I wonder if the restaurant is still manage by her or it's already change to different owner? But I was working with her before as waitress, i miss this city a lot, i miss my customers, i miss them and I want to know how are they doing? I promised to them that i will return but it is not easy though to come to USA, even i made my career at this stage yet the opportunity is still not yet coming. I will keep this dreaming to go to that place again, it's been 15 years now and should continue trying. I just want to share some good stories, i never been happy for the rest of my life even till today at my work, but working as waitress at this restaurant and only as a waitress, It was the happiest moment in my life, to see my customers went home with happy face, to entertaining them during lunch and dinner, to hear their problem in their home and work, and to serve them was the most enjoyable job I have ever did. My customers did unbelievable farewell for a waitress they didn't know, they love with compassion regardless of my skin, education and title, and they create every days memorable moment on my last day. I wish I got opportunity to be their waitress again and fulfilling promises to come back and see how are they. I miss...
Read moreVery disappointing. I was lured in because I hadn't had chinese in a while and the prices were good. I had a friend who worked at a chinese buffet/ restaurant in Omaha who told me they get all old food to serve people, or reuse what people didn't finish. I felt like that's what happened here. One server was nice, the other was very irritable and unfriendly. They were both rushing us and we just sat down. It was like a race or something.
Got the family deal for 12.95 that comes with egg drop or hot and sour soup, 2 mini rangoons, 1 mini egg roll, and paper chicken (a mini tinfoil triangle with some chicken solution inside). The soup was like mucous and the paper chicken stuck to the tinfoil. The main courses were big portions but they were barely palatable. My dad and I almost finished our plates because we have iron stomachs, but my mom and wife's shrimp w/ lobster sauce was not good and they couldn't eat half of it. Fried rice was mostly white with a few tiny shreds of eggs. The family deal is not worth it. We had a terrible experience and...
Read moreWe heard this place had changed owners and it was better so we decided to give it a try for lunch. It had been 5 years since we had been here and said we would never go back because it was so bad.
First off it was nice to see so many lunch specials for $10-12. They place seems cleaner and way less cluttered than it use to be. Our server was nice. Same checked on us often and refilled drinks. Our food was good. Not the best ever, but it was decent. The Sesame Chicken was very good with thick honey sauce on it and what seemed to be good quality chicken breast. The Pepper Steak was also good. The fried rice was just OK.
It’s just an odd place with the owner having a younger employee sit at an empty table and prep vegetables while he is eating his lunch. Odd and kinda gross.
The food was definitely much better than in the past, but the place just has an ‘odd’ vibe. I would recommend it for lunch when it’s not too busy and the service is...
