Sheriff Dave from the Fry Police reporting in. First let's address what we ordered. We had two regular roast beef sandwiches (one with sliced cheddar), 2 small curly fries and 2 small drinks.
The specials: they have several "2 fors" which come out better than ordering the meal deals if you want what they are offering. At this Arby's there were wraps and a few sandwich choices which I will post as pictures. I will also show what they want us to think the food will look like
They have self serve drinks here and have a pretty good selection of Coca-Cola products along with tea. Be careful of the root beer though, it drips lots of water on you as you dispense. Something is just broken with that one, it mixes the drink correctly into your cup, it's just that your hand gets soaked in the process. No fear though, they have plenty of napkins nearby.
The food came out cooked well and hot. The presentation of it was not to their picture standards but then again, what fast food place has that correct? The roast beef was smashed down on the bun (unlike their picture) and the one with the cheese actually looked pretty good. The curly fries were almost full like their picture (better than most) but mine came with a crinkle cut fry too. Not sure if I count that as a quality control issue or a bonus fry. You make the call. They have plenty of sauces to use.
Atmosphere: in general fairly clean, a few tables needed cleaning but we found plenty of areas to use that were clean. In fact, before we left they were out cleaning those few tables. 👍 Greeted at the counter not with a hello or welcome, just a "can I get a name for the order" . I chalk that up to a training issue, not necessarily being rude. She did smile...
Read moreThis is the closest Arby’s to me, and I’ve eaten at this location once or twice in the past, but my most recent visit was weird. First off, it’s the month of July and it’s sweltering hot outside. You walk into this Arby’s and it is just as hot as it is outside because the AC is either broken or turned off, so essentially you get to eat in a non air conditioned building… not the worst in the world (they could be fixing it so they have to shut it off…idk), but it’s still unusual. Second, they are out of their mac and cheese. That is my favorite thing on the menu, and it’s odd to me how they could be out of it around noon on a Friday. When I walked in, there were only 2 customers eating in there. It’s not like they had an influx of customers or anything like that. Lastly, I got one of their flavored lemonades. It’s the exact same size as a fountain drink, but they don’t do free refills. I think that’s a letdown because those flavored lemonades are really good. It’s so weird how they give you a small cup of it and don’t refill it, but you can refill the fountain beverages as much as you want while you’re there, and it’s the same size? That’s really weird to me. I didn’t have too big a problem with any of these, but I found them to be unlikely. The staff looked like they could care less about their job, but the cashier who took my order, Jillian, actually did smile at least once, which is nice. One of my Jalapeño Bites had all cheese and no jalapeño whatsoever.
Overall, a big change than what the experience was in the past...
Read moreCame in today around 5:15 PM yesterday for lunch, I placed my order online. We arrived, and we walked in there was one person in the back working the food line alone. Along with 2 younger girls. They had a line inside that was just waiting (3 people) being ignored for a few minutes before any one was assisted with taking order. Took them about 8 minutes to bag my whole order item by item while doing multiple other tasks, I called it that our food would be cold by the time we traveled back to site to eat. There was another lady in there, an elder and she even said to the gentleman standing in the line still waiting for his order to be taken, that “we are like nobody here, they just ignore us” she waited 5 minutes after her order was up just for her side of fries. She was sitting inside with her husband, they are regulars she told me personally! I did experience myself one of the girls, I have the name but prefer not to make public as very unprofessional, eye rolling and stuck up. The other girl that I didn’t get a name for was on the head set with the crew on shift talking bad about either customer, or someone else who works at Arby’s. We are regulars , but we are deciding we will stay at bay from this location until some issues are resolved. If a manager could call me to discuss, would be greatly...
