Bland food. Dingy, unhygienic, and dirty atmosphere. You would be wise to avoid this place.

You enter the restaurant and are greeted by .. no one. And have no indication of where to go or who talk to about getting seated.

Once you finally are spoken with and seated, I’d suggest you request to be seated inside rather out on the patio. (Although I can’t promise that is any better)

If you do have the misfortune of sitting outside, you’ll be greeted and welcomed with the ambience of a run down putt putt course.

The turf carpeting is littered with trash and foliage.. Beams of unfettered sunlight breaks through the screened enclosure and blinds you as you try to read from the greasy, fingerprint-encrusted plastic menus.. you reach for your coffee and must first peel your forearm from the mildewed vinyl table covering.. when you turn for the sugar packets, you find that they too are covered in mildew.. presumably because this restaurant leaves their condiments and table accouterments outside to brave the elements.

Shortly after placing your order, your waitress returns to inform you that the Breakfast Club is out of hashbrowns. Perfect. Completely apropos for a breakfast restaurant on a Sunday. The mark of a very well managed establishment.

As you dig in to your greasy, bland meal.. you find a synergy and synchronicity between the fetid slop that adorns your plate, and the repugnant atmosphere in which you waited 30 minutes to enjoy it.

After sitting for some time with an overwhelming sense of disappointment and indigestion.. your waitress drops off your damp receipt, saturated from the condensation of another patrons beverage.

You pay for your meal, and return to your vehicle.. and as you sit in your car you momentarily lose yourself as you reflect on the lunacy of what you just experienced. Never to...

To begin with, let me just say that even in the most dismal of times when we come into this place, we always leave with a smile on our face. The staff is friendly, attentive, and genuinely seem to like their jobs, they are pleasant to talk to, and treat you like a part of a family instead of just another hungry customer. More often than not when we go to have breakfast, we feel like we just need to get in, get food, and get the heck out and that's just not the case here.

From the moment you walk through those doors, you are at a dining table with everyone in the place, having a farm fresh, home cooked breakfast and that's a rare commodity in today's world of powdered egg mixes, artificial meat, and high prices.

My wife and I are foodies, we love trying new places to eat even at our own detriment, but I can honestly say that this is our #1 without any hesitation, first and only choice for breakfast. If you want a down home meal, cooked right, and seasoned beautifully, you've come to the right place. We live on a retiree and Social Security budget, and the prices allow us to come and enjoy a great meal in a pleasant location, you just can't beat that. My only regret is not being able to come have breakfast every day, leaving with a smile really does make the day go that much smoother.

If you are an avid fan of a farmer's breakfast, try the Classic Steak and Eggs Ribeye, I would love to know how they marinate and tenderize these steaks, because they are always fantastic!
