Subway — Restaurant in Lake Saint Louis

Food was just like any other subway but the service was terrible and borderline rude. 3 guys there, one starting the sandwiches one finishing the sandwiches and one checking people out. I asked how much bacon would cost, no one knew. But the 1st guy did know that it would be charged for a full foot long portion even though I only wanted it on half of my foot long. Ok no problem whatever I’ll skip the bacon. Got to check out and ask if they have a military discount. I ask everywhere I go, some places do it some don’t no worries if they don’t every place is different. Guy at register didn’t know (which is understandable since this was his first week) 1st more experienced guy is like “uhhh I don’t know, I know we have an officer discount” cool ok no hard feelings, all about supporting our men and women in blue. But what upset me was the comment he made to the next people in line “yea jeez if I gave you a discount I’d have to give everyone a discount...hahaha” it was so rude...

There is something wrong here .go to local subway coupon in hand and there is a typed sign on door stating they do not honor buy one footling get one free then it proceeds to say what sandwiches u r allowed to order when using a coupon.well first off the coupon stats what you r not allowed to order...3 of their sandwiches u r not allowed to purchase with coupon I believe 2 r clubs and other is some Mexican. Well this place doesn't care what the coupon says they r only gonna give u turkey ham cold cut meatball and tuna. Who is making the amendments to the coupons. Why even print them and mail them? All the prices have gone up since the vamped up the menu u would think they would want the consumer to try the new items. I guess I don't understand why they will not honor what the coupon says . Didn't seem quite right that each store has different rules and can set...

Let me start with i have worked at subway for 6 years. I went to this location as it is closer to my house than the one I work at and i was on vacation. I went in and the store is very clean. My experience with the workers was less than professional. The one worker mumbled his way through the entire process of taking my order I had to ask him to repeat himself several times. Maybe if he wouldn't of had his headphones in he would have heard how he sounded. The other worker a girl rang my order out. But not before she herself had to ask mumbles a lot to repeat what the sandwich was. She then asked him to open his mouth when he talks and to which his response was in the most rude tone "or you could open your ears". Clearly neither of us could hear him.
