MOD Pizza — Restaurant in Lake Stevens

Great pizza, great staff & service, great atmosphere and all at prices that are not at all unreasonable.

Before I started coming here myself a few weeks ago, everybody told me that they either loved it or hated it; there was no in-between. But I can't at all see how you would even remotely hate it other than the fact that maybe you don't like young adults as your staff. But that has very little bearing on much at all. Besides, they're all pretty laid back and communicative.

I've only ever had one instance where I was waiting for somebody to ring me up for my order, and that's been the only negative experience I've had. Honestly what's to complain about when the pizza is the same price no matter how much of how many toppings you put on it?

A couple weeks ago the guy who seems to be the team leader of the staff (not the owners/managers who are the two older gentlemen) was ringing me up and noticed that I was getting one of their No-Name cakes and told me he would go check the back freezer because he thought he remembered he had some chilling in the back because "they're better cold", and not even 15 seconds later, he popped back out with a cold one and then rang me up. After one bite while I was waiting for my pizza to cook, I told him he was absolutely right and that I appreciated it.

I come here fairly regularly (one week I came 5 out of the 7 days, and joked with a couple of the staff and one of the owners that they must put crack in the pizzas because I keep coming back for more) and most of the regular staff don't even ask me anymore if I've been here before, which is customary since its unlike any other pizza place and new customers might not know what to expect. Most of them are pretty friendly and ask about my day or what I'm up to that night if its a late night visit. And whenever a customer walks in the door, somebody yells out hello to greet them.

Would give zero if i could. Waited 2 hrs. Ordered ahead. Apparently there was a large fund raiser that had just ended. They were working very hard, but they were so chaotic and unorganized. I was very patient, others complained more and seemed to get their food faster. Lots of people were waiting, but there was a lot of people who came in after that they pushed their pizzas ahead, blaming stolen pizzas. They were making a lot of pizzas no one was there to receive, so i think they were just so unorganized, that they were cooking out of line and making the original orders when they came up. I finally got my order, and it was not what i ordered at all. I am diabetic so was already about to pass out, got home and couldn't even eat what i had been given, because it had all kinds of meat on it that i can't eat. Couldn't even pick it off and salvage what i could, so had to throw away. Now very hungry, shaking and upset, i tried calling and first they did not answer, then when they did they were very condescending and not very sincere with their concern. Literally the worst MOD location. One guy tried to make it properly but was cut off by some bossy girl (Bre) telling him HE was wrong (Which he wasn't in the least- super simple pizza from THEIR recipe just ADDING chicken. You think that'd be simple...) Then she (Bre) decides to argue with my husband over our order that is literally spelled out in front of her (Bre). Save yourself the trouble of driving back to have your online order made properly- go to either Marysville location. The beauty of online ordering is supposed to be convenience. It's not convenient to have your order literally spelled out on your receipt only to open it and have the pizza inside not match the receipt on top- at all. Not to mention the customer service was terrible (Bre). This is supposed to be a business that lets you customize any aspect of your order however you can dream up AND offers to make you a new one at no cost if you don't like what you created yet this girl (Bre) wanted to argue on and on and on about their...
