With 30 plus years of professional customer service, I've never had to wait more than 30 minutes for "fast food" - UNTIL NOW. I ordered a Six Dollar McDouble Meal at the kiosk in the lobby and waited patiently for its completion. While waiting, someone behind me ordered after I did, and received his order within 5 minutes, while an employee was running orders out to a busy drive-thru. After 30 minutes - with no other lobby orders other than myself and the guy who already left, and an empty drive-thru - I overheard personal conversations from the back area about schedules and other things that shouldn't be audible to lobby customers; so I decided to investigate why my order had not been competed yet.
Once I approached the counter, I made eye contact with someone in the kitchen for assistance. As the employee came up, "wassup?" was the first thig spoken. In response I asked, "um, wassup with my order - I've been waiting for 30 minutes?" They asked for my receipt, and informed me the order didn't come up on the back monitors - the screens didn't look on at all. I received NO apology, NO immediate managerial assistance, and NO offer to compensation the inconvenience of waiting - EVEN IF IT WAS A TECHNICAL ISSUE! To make matters worse, THE FOOD WAS NOT FRESH OR HOT!
After waiting for more than 30 minutes for "fast food", my EXPECTATION was for FRESH HOT FOOD; especially because it was cool outside. In the time of crossing the street and reaching for some fries, I realized that there was no heat coming from them; after checking the temperature of everything else I just threw it away disappointed of the experience I had. Money waisted! Totally unacceptable! Not sure if this is a norm at this location, but I won't be back.
Ironically, I hadn't been to a McDonald's in about 2 years because of diet changes, today I was treating myself for those changes because I was on-the-go to an event (that I missed because of this); this experience confirms my final...
Read moreLet me tell y'all what happened this morning. I ordered 2 Chorizo Burritos, hot cakes, large Coke, and 1 sausage biscuit at 10:22. I got my food at 10:34 am (If the owner is read this, please review the camera). I got to my car and looked for Salsa for my Burrito and it wasn't any in the bag. I had my daughter and mom double check the bag before I went back in there and asked for some. (Check the camera owner. Red Cadillac XTS parked near the door and I had a green shirt, black shoes and beige shorts on). The cashier told me that she put some in the bag and hesitated to give me some. It wasn't any in the bag. So, she eventually gave me some. I go back to my car, open the side of my burrito and squirted some salsa in it. I took a bite and it wasn't a chorizo burrito, it was sausage. SO, I had to go in there a 3rd Time. The cashier sat over by the drive thru window and ignored me. The lady with the fake eyelashes that was bagging the food came over, looked at it and took it to the tall Male with the dreads that was preparing the food and told him to make her 2 chorizo burritos. I had to wait about 10 more minutes for those to come up. When the my 2 chorizo burritos came up. I asked the lady for another salsa and she said "Salsa only come with the burritos". I said "I have 2 chorizo burritos". She turn around and tells me that it only comes with the sausage burritos. Why I the hell would salsa come with sausage burritos??????????? She refused to give me one after she said I already gave you one...... They both need to be fired. I know the owner probably doesn't care but I will neve come to this McDonald's again. Read moreI was there today Monday October 5th ordered from the kiosk. The machine didn’t give me a receipt this isn’t the first time to this location, but it will be my last. The machine didn’t give me a receipt. When wait in the line with no one I was not Acknowledged once for 5 minutes in front of the Register. After 10 minutes a young black female with pig tails red hair comes and asked me what my order was I let her know I wanted to pay cash cause I ordered from the kiosk she looked listed and didn’t know what to look for then tells me to wait a minute ok I wait for another 10 minutes she come back with a blue shirt woman that must be the manager she didn’t know what she was looking for I told them my name. She goes on to do something else and completely ignores me. I asked for a manager or the corporate number of the restaurant she didn’t know and laughed at me!! I asked for a manager and told me I had to wait till the manager gets there. This is the most unprofessional Establishment I have ever been to! Their system there is only to worry about the drive thru! I will be getting a hold of corporate on every level! Their employees that were work this shift at 5pm should all be fired! Or trained properly. No one should have this experience in a fast food restaurant. Like I said I will be going to corporate till I get to the person that is in charge of this facility!
