Munchiez — Restaurant in Lake Township

We came in on Saturday night at 7 to get shakes and some chips w/ cheese. They ran out of ice cream for the shakes so we couldn’t get those. Then, we ended up waiting over 40 minutes for chips w/ cheese. They told us they forgot to send out order back, but it still took 20 more minutes to get the food after they figured out it was an error on their end. Of course we get that mistakes happen, but there were literally no efforts made to rectify the situation. Usually if this kind of mistake happens, they at the very least expedite your order and get it made for you. I was legit surprised that people still got chips w/ cheese before us after they knew they forgot ours. In the long run, if repeat business is to be expected, check in with your customers. If there’s a problem fix at that time. For the prices, we expected a better experience from here. Moving forward I don’t think we’ll be coming back in the near future but hopefully one day we’ll try this again. For new people I hope your experience is...

Brought my family here excited to support a black business. From the moment we walked in they didn't greet us, but greeted the woman who they knew who came in after us. The entire time we were there they laughed, snickered and grinned. It was a very uncomfortable place unlike the pictures and reviews. The shake was runny. Altogether, we should have went somewhere else. We just took my family to Sonic. This is Chicago, I was looking for candy and snacks not cereal. They had no other toppings for a Sundae ,but cereal, and she stated it so rudely. The only benefit of that ride from the North to the Southside was our stop at Garrett's on 87th. I hope they get better. I've seen candy stands with more variety. They only have one Arcade Pac-man game so don't asume you going to a arcade. We easily spend $70-100 dollars on a outing , so I was excited to spend our money with our own. I only ended up spending about $45. Please do better!! Customer Service training...

I will say that unfortunately I won't be returning. When I walked in I had high expectations of getting some candies from my childhood, a charms blow pop and a couple of fun dips. I asked all of the employees where could I find these items, one replied, "whatever you see out, that's what we have", while the other two showed me that they would rather not serve me. As if I was interrupting them.

Being the good guy that I am, I decided to stall my visit just to see if customer service would enhance, but it decreased.
