I come in almost every monday for the salad special. there are very few places in the area with salad offerings. the salad is$5 or $6 with chicken on mondays. every time i order the salad, it is wrong and missing ingredients. today for example it was missing avocado on the california cobb. i was told they are out of avocado. the times previous it has been missing the blue cheese crumbles, the eggs, sometimes i get the factory salad and it has been missing the peppers and the cheese, it's literally every single time i go in. so now i always check the order before i leave the building every time i order on mondays i have to remind the cashier of the monday salad discount. i am curious how many people have come in and ordered on monday and didn't mention the discount and paid full price. probably a few. the time it takes to get food prepared is crazy. i will come in and order a salad and it has taken 30 minutes. that's crazy. to save time because of issue #3, I will call ahead to order. nine times out of ten the phone just rings and rings and rings and no one answers, so it's a waste. so, because of issues #3 and #4, I chose to use the slicefactory website to pre-order my food and pick it up today. when i arrived, the cashier insisted that i pay full price rather than the discount monday special price. i said no. the website made no mention of that. she said "the rules changed last week and my boss says only phone orders and in person get the monday discount" and i said "i don't care, it didn't say that online and if I would have known that I would have called or just come in". i requested she call her boss, which she did, and I did get a discount, but ....
missing avocado. of course.
also, some days they include a slice of bread, other days they don't. who knows what is actually correct. today they didn't give me the bread.
just totally disorganized and it's a shame because the salads are legitimately good, and it's the only place i can get a decent salad in the area.
but i don't think I will be giving them my average two days a week of...
Read moreJust want to say right off the bat that slice factory wasn't at fault. We ordered a jumbo pizza and waited 2 hours before we decided to cancel. We were in constant communication with slice factory checking the status of our pizza. Turns out that DoorDash was at fault, the provider they are using for deliveries. My friends and I were hanging out in the backyard with full view of the street and we never saw a car stop by with our food. DoorDash claimed that the delivery driver arrived 30min after our order and called multiple times (clearly, they didn't knock on our door...). Slice factory was doing their best to get a hold of DD and we didn't find this out until 2 hours later. We demanded a refund. They then offered that if we stopped by their store the following day and mention my name, my next order is 50% off. Ordered for pickup and got a jumbo the next day without a problem. The lady said they don't have a delivery driver for the evenings (hence the DoorDash) so best not to order for delivery on weekday...
Read moreWent in with a group of two, we both got a bad case of food poisoning from here. This was the only thing we ate all day so there was no other possible reason. Something tasted off about the Pizza and it wasn't even heated up properly, to be honest I think they just microwaved it and served it to us given that the wait time was about a minute. We also ordered mozzarella sticks which were lukewarm and clearly not fresh as they tasted insanely dry. I thought Id try something a new pizza place but that was a huge mistake, I wouldnt even recommend this place to my worst enemy. The arguement "but it's cheap pizza" doesn't apply here given that the order wasn't cheap, for 2 slices of room temperature pizza and some old mozzarella sticks, the order came up to 20 bucks. So there you go folks, for 20 dollars you can get your own case of food poisoning,...
