So I recently came here with my sister and friend for my birthday and this was my 3rd time there within the past year… and I can definitely say it was a bunch of difficult experiences…
I love the ambiance it is beautiful and great the music 10 out of 10 the food and drinks are just great 10 out of 10 as well! Now if we talk about the service I HATE IT EVERYTIME! I will break down my experiences everytime after today I would have been there 4 times!
1st time: so my first time coming here was on a date I want to say I came in about an hour and a half before you all closed on a weekday. I was in no rush but the server took a while to come over take out drink orders and bring them out! It was definitely not busy at all… it was 2nd week of May 2023… by the time she brought out drinks we told her we wanted to order food she takes out order come back 20 mins later and says the kitchen is closed but she has some cold wings in the window if we wanted them… like seriously pissed me off… why wouldn’t you tell us that when we say down? Or why wouldn’t you be more Attentive…
2nd time: It was mid March 2024… I came with a friend of mine and it was the first time I was able to try the food. I came during happy hour so I was able to try a number amount of drinks and the service from the Hispanic Bartender was amazing. He was attentive sweet and very busy but definitely continued to give great service and good attitude… now his co bartender the black one a little more heavier set ride like literally couldn’t smile give eye contact or check on us when the other bartender was clearly busy as hell… but when it was time to pay he was all over us I definitely didn’t understand that AT ALL! I paid and wanted to give the other guy his tip in cash he was pretty busy so I was trying to get his attention the black guy is just like I got it I got it like seriously I been here 2 hours you haven’t said a word to me now you are? Please leave me alone…
3rd time: Now my third time here is April 12 2024 my birthday I come in with my friend and sister to celebrate! Again we came at happy hour we got there around 615… I was excited to have the food again we literally ordered everything on the happy hour menu… same staff plus a Hispanic young female bartender… she came over introduced herself and got straight to it… now the other 2 men the Hispanic guy and black guy where again ride couldn’t speak check on us or give eye contact like very annoying if she’s busy or not around and we need something you all should be able to speak and check on us! She ended up being ok I give her a 6 out of 10 because she just wasn’t friendly at all until my friend and I told her we also bartend now she smiling in our face like stop judging books by the cover!
4th time: now I came the next day, which was April 13 still celebrating my birthday. My mother and my girlfriend wanted to come. I didn’t tell him about my experience because I want them to get their own. Again, we also came for happy hour this time same staff another experience Pretty much the bartenders were whispering to each other about us ordering drinks we understand that you can’t have more than one drink at the tape of the time, but we were also asking questions and they basically were just rolling their eyes acting Busy. This time we got the black guy to take care of us and his vibe just wasn’t it in my personal opinion if you don’t like working happy hour because you don’t like the crowd that it brings then don’t work happy hour and you can just get them. Smiling in certain peoples face and then Coming to Black people and treating them a certain way.
Again, I am a bartender so I understand how it goes and my job does brunch with unlimited mimosas So I don’t like that crowd and I don’t like how busy it gets so I don’t work brunch. So if your bartenders don’t like it then need not to work that time… I’ve come in lost never found and got the same attitude over and and over and something needs to give.. Read moreMe and my best friend saw that there’s a rooftop here and wanted to go for a girls night. I made a reservation asking for the rooftop. We get there and seated at a booth. It was cute so we decided to get a drink then go upstairs. The waitress comes over and we tell her if we can do that. She says absolutely and recommends we eat as there’s no food up there. We order the drinks and ask her to come back while we decide the food. The drinks came quickly and she ran off before we could order. I proceeded to watch her walk right by us 3 times. Trying to give the benefit of the doubt she’s busy (even though it wasn’t busy inside) on the 4th passing I had to stop her and order the food. I also asked if it was possible to move to a booth that wasn’t right under the vent. She said “I can see if they’ll turn it down” and ran off again. I continued to watch her pass by multiple times. I finally get up and ask the host. The host moved us immediately. As we sat down on our new spot the food arrived. We take a couple bites and have to use the bathroom. On our way back up we notice the picture area is free and we take some pictures. I see the waitress and ask her for a box for the food. She leaves and comes back quickly saying “we thought you guys left so we threw the food out.” We couldn’t have been away from the table for more than 5 minutes. She says she can make another that’ll take 35 mins or she can have it removed from the bill. I ask for it to be removed as there was only like 3 pieces of the pizza ate. We try to brush the experience off and go upstairs. I ask someone how to get there and they tell us the rooftop is closed. The whole point of us coming was for the rooftop. The waitress knew that and never once gave us a heads up that the rooftop closes. If anything she prolonged us going up there by recommending we eat first. On 2/24/2024 I traveled for two hours to reach the destination., my party of four dined at your restaurant, and unfortunately, our experience fell far short of expectations.
Firstly, the service was incredibly slow, with prolonged waits between placing our order and receiving any acknowledgment from the staff. Upon finally receiving our meals, we were dismayed to discover that only three out of the four individuals in our group were served their food. This oversight not only resulted in an uncomfortable dining experience but also disrupted the harmony of our meal.
Furthermore, the quality of the food that was served was subpar. It lacked the freshness and flavor that we have come to expect from your establishment, further compounding our dissatisfaction.
As paying customers, we expect a certain level of competence and attentiveness from the staff, as well as a standard of quality in the food served. Regrettably, these expectations were not met during our visit, and as a result, we left feeling disappointed and dissatisfied.
I sincerely hope that you will take this feedback seriously and take the necessary steps to address these issues. As a loyal patron of your restaurant, I believe in its potential to provide exceptional service and culinary experiences, and I trust that you will work towards upholding these standards in the future.
