Do. Not. Sleep on this spot!!! Honestly the best slice of pizza I’ve had in Chicago in a long, long time. It’s a perfect, no frills, neighborhood spot, and MAN they know exactly what they’re doing. We ordered a Cheese and Sausage/Pepper/Mushroom, pizzas came out HOT right from the oven. I’m not kidding when I say I don’t think I’ve ever had a more perfect first bite of cheese pizza ever in my entire life. The sauce was so bright and tangy, the crust was crisp, the slice as a whole held together and wasn’t too floppy or soggy. Perfection! I chatted with the owner, Mike (idk, he gave off owner vibes!) as I was sitting there fawning over everything and he mentioned he uses unbleached flour and an herbal sauce, making their pizza super light and not heavy on the stomach. He even tossed us a free scoop of their Italian ice—so velvety and perfectly lemony. I’m not joking when I say I never write reviews, this might be my first Google review ever, but I felt like the people needed to know!! Such welcoming vibes, slices and whole pies available, I felt like I was hangin’ out in my uncles shop. I’ll be sending everyone here. You gotta gooooo!!!

Attention Roscoe Village/Chicago friends....if you have not yet been to Pizza Amelia ,(on Roscoe), you are missin' out....the smells of yummy pizza & garlic drew me in, plus met a couple the other night who told me they came for a slice, ended up buying a couple pies so when walkin' home from my Fall, neighborhood , walk last night...the nosy Deb part of me, stopped by, even though was closing time. Mike and his amazing crew were nothing short of awesome, gracious,fun....gave me a slice that was mouth-watering, delicious....truly a gem in the ❤️ of Roscoe Village ....GO!... I will be back!🍕 It is one of the many things I love & appreciate about Chicago....been here 20+ years now....the fact that any given night/day, you meet so many cool people, discover something new, each & every time ...truly is a little, big city....this was the kinda night I love and appreciate.🥰💕

I was really, really happy with this spot. I have been searching for an east coast pizza style joint and I was really impressed with Pizza Amelia. Zaza’s, Jimmy’s and all the other pizza spots blown up on social doesn’t come close to this spot. We did a half cheese and half pep. I will be honest I was a little underwhelmed with the cheese was hoping for a bit more flavor. But just a simple pepperoni blew me away. I could taste this was premium ingredients. And the dough!! Spectacular flavor and crunch- wow. This is a small joint that takes pride and care in every order and is 100% worth any wait time. You have to also add an Italian icy to your order. Best of all this spot has very kind and energy and you can truly see the gratitude they have for all customers. I will be back very soon! For sure my new go to!

We’ve been waiting patiently for this place to open for several months. Stop by Friday after the Cubs game and was psyched to see that they were open. We had three slices of sausage and we were blown away. One of the best crusts we’ve had in years. And, cooked perfectly. Crispy with no flop at all. The sausage was perfectly seasoned and not greasy at all. If we wouldn’t have just come from the Cubs game Where we ate all day, including extra innings, we would’ve gotten another six slices. We also had lemon ice, which was perfect. Not sugary, not grainy at all. Can’t tell you how glad we are to have a small family run place like this nearby. In a city full of horrible franchise restaurants and self important chefs telling their customers how lucky they are to be dining at their establishments, It is so refreshing to see owners like Mike taking pride in what they do, and making sure that their customers are blown away before leaving their place. The only downside is that the owner mentioned that they can only make a certain amount of pies per night, so make sure to get there early and often. I can’t recommend this place...
