Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Lake Worth

I’ve always loved Sonic, and enjoy their burgers. I’ve also never had a bad sonic experience in my life. My brother and I had stopped at sonic last night to get food. We waited 28 minutes before getting our meal, and we saw other people who came in after us continue to get their food. We didn’t have a large order either. Once they finally came out, I went to grab our drinks and they did not have the lid on the shake so when I grabbed it the entire lid fell off and spilt all over my car, and I was not offered a new one. I always check my food before leaving, and when they walked away my entire order was wrong. I asked for a double cheese burger with cheese, pickles, jalapeños ONLY with extra pickles and jalapeños. My order had every single item that comes on a regular burger. I then pressed the call button in which they didn’t get to me for 8 minutes. At this point I’m pretty angry since this hit a 36 minute mark. I then told the guy over the speak 4 times that my burger was wrong in which they kept asking what the problem was. Finally someone came out, and asked what the issue was in which I told them what the problem was and they told me “you never ordered that. You ordered a regular cheeseburger so that’s what you got.” I then pull out my receipt which showed I ordered a double cheese burger with cheese, pickles and jalapeños only. Instead of apologizing for getting my burger wrong or trying to tell me that’s what I ordered they just said we will get a new one and walked off. I did not receive my fixed burger until 6:14. Which this hit the mark of waiting 57 minutes for our food. I was never given a sorry, or even offering to refund my order. That being said, the shake lid was not on correctly and spilt in my car, and nothing was said, I waited pretty much an hour for my food with no apology. I will never go to this sonic again, this was the absolute worst experience I have ever faced, and can not believe for the life of me that I wasn’t offered something for the spilt shake, or the hour wait on a damn hamburger. Keep in mind we only ordered a burger, a kids corn dog...

Definitely never coming back. I have a fairly severe gluten allergy. Checked out sonic on Google to go about ordering from them without getting poisoned. Seemed simple enough. Ordered a burger without a bun, fries & tots are safe, and simple shakes are OK. Informed them at least 6 times that I have a gluten allergy and we needed them to clean the spindle for the shake before making my chocolate shake. We waited, and waited, and waited for our order. A car pulled in next to us AFTER we ordered. They ordered, got their food, ate, and left long before our food came out. It was a fairly simple order for us. We finally get our food. I look at the burger and it looks pretty good without a bun. Tots are hot and ranch has no wheat or MSG. (Bonus because I also can't have MSG.) Took a sip of the shake and felt wrong but couldn't say why. Took another sip and had crunchy things in it... ??? Pulled a piece of something dark out of my mouth.... AND IT'S AN OREO CHUNK. So, I'm screwed at this point. Food poisoning symptoms for me tomorrow and maybe the day after. No apology. No refund offer. Took them over 20 minutes to make another chocolate shake for me. Never...

I didn't even want to leave one star but that was only way to write review. I went to this location about two weeks ago. I got their. bacon breakfast burritos. They were soooo soooo salty!!! I couldn't even eat them, had to throw away. Wasn't going to complain due to it was only 3.66 I thought maybe today they would be good if I tell them not to season or salt when cooking. Which I did this morning. Was told they don't season or salt them. Which was fine but did tell them what happened previously. While waiting for my order, I noticed a gentleman wrapping the orders and continuously itchy the back of his head and continue to keep wrapping the orders!!! Not even taking time for proper food safety. When I received my order, and unwrapped it, I could smell this odor like it was bad. So again threw away. Normally i don't even, write reviews but this happened twice and I feel like if I would have eaten that, it would have costed me a lot more in hospital bill then the little 3.66 I would have left negative 5 stars if I could have. Will never go there again due to bad product and severely bad...
