JJ Twigs Pizza — Restaurant in Lake Zurich

This review is just for the service because I didn't even make it to eat or order food.

First off, I walked in and I'm a new customer, at 745 they close at 9. Right away the vibe was off and I try to order and I say oh this is "to go" and she says "well obviously it's delivery and Togo" and I was like ok. Then we try to order but noticed the menu was different then on door dash. So we asked a question and said can we just take a minute. then she said "you have to order now we are closing" and I said oh ok we will just go somewhere else thanks online it said you're open until 9". And she goes "our lights flashed twice so we are closing now"

Very awkward interaction and not personable at all. So I won't be going or ordering...

I just had pizza delivered and it was not what I expected. 1 Pizza had slid all the way to the side of the box. The other pizza I ordered was a blt pizza. The pizza had pizza sauce on it. I called and asked what came on the pizza and a girl told me that it came with lettuce tomatoes cheese and bacon and ranch sauce. I asked them to replace the ranch sauce with mayonnaise and they did. But who puts marinara sauce on a BLT Pizza? I have never seen that before. Its always ranch or mayo. And I wasn't told that it was on there. I would have asked them to leave it off if I had been told. I wont be ordering from them again. I wish I could post...

Great food, full bar, live music, open mic, and karaoke! Sadly, reviewer Matt from July 18, 2010 is misinformed. I know the couple that runs this place, and they are fantastic! They've never been anything but super nice to me and my friends and family. The batting cages & mini golf are owned by separate people, not the couple that runs Twig's. So it's not their fault that things went downhill and that the mini golf and batting cages are now closed. The patio and gazebo...
