I first want to say that Chick-fil-A is our ABSOLUTE FAVORITE fast food restaurant!!! I have NEVER had anything but a phenomenal experience at EVERY CFA I've ever been to, but this location should be ASHAMED of themselves!! The staff, the customer service, AND the food came NOWHERE NEAR meeting CFA's SUPERB fast food STANDARDS!!! My family came to pick me up from work to treat me to lunch at Chick-fil-A, but after 35 minutes we were SERIOUSLY regretting that decision!! The staff at the drive thru gave us a flag, told us to go park, and said they'd bring our food out to us. After sitting in the parking lot watching cars come and go, I decided to go inside and see what was taking so long? Not wanting to be rude, I let them know that we were waiting for our food outside, but I'd just wait inside so they didn't have to run it out. When they FINALLY gave me my food, I was in such a hurry that I ran out w/out checking it, but when I handed my family their food, I realized we were missing a sandwich. I ran back in and politely let the staff know that ONE PLAIN CFA sandwich was missing, only to stand at the counter being ignored for ANOTHER 10 minutes at least!!!! Even one of the women bagging orders shouted "THAT LADY'S BEEN WAITING HERE FOR AT LEAST 25 MINUTES ALREADY!! ALL SHE'S WAITING FOR NOW IS A PLAIN CFA SANDWICH THAT THEY FORGOT TO PUT IN HER ORDER, WHAT'S TAKING SO LONG??" So, once the sandwich FINALLY came out, the manager gave it to me, along with a coupon for a small key lime frosty!?!? I REALLY thought that after this HORRIBLY INCONVENIENT experience AND making me late to work coming back from lunch(a lunch that I didn't get to spend with my family btw), that the manager would have done something for us that my family and I DESERVED-but I guess to this CFA Manager a small key lime shake should make up for the extremely unprofessional service we received!? I'm upset that this happened, because I don't want to exclude a whole restaurant for one bad experience, but I always leave CFA feeling valued as a customer, and after coming to this particular CFA, that was NOT the case😖 In retrospect, I wish I would have just asked for my money back ASAP, and given the restaurant a try on...
Read moreWe are so disappointed with our visit tonight. Across several years we have become accustomed to great service here. But tonight we felt like we were somewhere else. Alanna and Devin treated us so very poorly. We were stunned, disappointed and really aren't interested in returning right now.
So, I'm updating my review. I decided to forgive and forget, since this was the closest Chick-fil-A. I have not had another experience with the staff like the one I mentioned above. However, there is one thing they still need to get right. This is for their safety and the safety of everyone involved. When you have a 250 lb man in a pickup with construction company markings on the side, and he's ordering grilled nuggets and a side salad, you need to make sure that you get him the Chick-fil-A sauce and the salad dressing that he ordered. You need to understand that he doesn't want to be eating grilled nuggets and side salad. He wants to be sinking his teeth into a fried sandwich! But the doctor has told him he has high blood pressure and high cholesterol and diabetes and needs to exercise and lose weight and watch his diet. So, the one thing that makes this meal bearable is the Chick-fil-A sauce and the salad dressing! YOU MUST GET THIS RIGHT! FOR THE LOVE OF ALL HUMANITY!! YOU CANNOT FORGET THE SAUCES!! IT ISN'T SAFE!! Read moreThis location is absolutely not my favorite anymore, even though it used to be. I had se problems ordering delivery from them a few months ago and someone called me the following week to tell me she would reinstate my coupon for later use. But, I waited and waited before I finally got the email address for the operator and sent him a message and he was finally able to re-add my coupon after waiting for over a month for them to do so. Then I went in on Friday to dine in for the first time since lockeown and their staff is terrible. First of all everything was in bags since I guess they don't have trays anymore, then they confused me on what bag was which until I was eventually able to figure it out. Then my mother told me she couldn't find the sauce I asked for in her bag and they never came by to ask us if we wanted refills on our drinks (I didn't know they were doing that until much later). They also didn't tell me if the salad I ordered was prepared right, without the ingredients I asked be taken out (o couldn't tell because I can't see), so I never ate it and just gave it to someone else who told me they didn't. I'm absolutely livid at them because they used to be the "good locatipn" while the one on Edgewater was bad, and now it's totally backwards. Likely not going back to this one...
