Be very careful about using this organization for an Estate Sale! Mary Ann and her team left my mother’s home after the sale filthy, damaged with items missing. Trying to grieve the sudden/unexpected loss of my mother & trusted Mary Ann & her team with my childhood home.
Trash left in a number of places, cigarette butts where nobody in my family ever smoked. Stolen custom window treatments from the master bedroom, broken master bedroom closet door track, stolen wood shutters from two basement windows & a broken wooden spindle on stairs going to basement.
Turns out Mary Ann allows a third party into the home after the estate sale to ‘clean out’ the property? Are these licensed & bonded individuals? They damaged the spindle trying to move furniture.
Mary Ann refused to replace or compensate the stolen window treatments stating ‘well maybe your family members or real estate agent came into the home and took them. How do you know the new owners won’t replace any of these anyway?’ The home was being prepped for sale & professional photos had just been taken prior to these people coming and taking possession of the home for the sale. We would never take items that were custom to the home that in a way devalued the home.
Mary Ann also refused to fix the broken closet. What they do is remove closet doors during the estate sale. Why this is necessary I do not know? They use closets in the home as a kind of showcase area. They broke a track during this process. Mary Ann refused to replace it stating, ‘the house is old! It would have broken eventually!’
The broken spindle was poorly patched together then painted over. Pics part of complaint with BBB.
When I told Mary Ann that this was completely unacceptable & that I wouldn’t be alright with she & her egregious company walking away with what they did to my mother’s home, she became threatening & threatened to go after my mother’s estate for the worker who purportedly injured himself trying to move furniture & broke the spindle. For the record, Mary Ann claimed she knew nothing about the state of the home, trash, damage, stolen items until I notified her 4 days after the estate sale when I went back to the house to retrieve mail & check on the house.
Does this company not have expert help, licensed staff & its own insurance? Are they paid under the table? Who was allowed into my mother’s home & allowed to cause damage & steal items? Why the threats & totally unprofessional behavior? In any case, want others to know what we experienced with this...

For those requesting to contact me they can use dmorris38290@googlemail.com I went to an estate sale ran by Cobblestone Too! over the weekend and it was terrible, I feel so bad for the family who own the house. They were rude and unwilling to work with customers. I heard one member of staff on the last day say they wish they had 1 more day, that's because you weren't pricing stuff to sell. When I see an over priced estate sale like this I always wonder if they have a brick store or eBay store that they will be selling everything on later, they have both. They were selling unboxed, dirty Barbie dolls for $10-$15 on the first day, that's just crazy. They also kept trying to do cash sales which was really weird for a company that takes card payments. I think it was a few card payments to show the family and then for an unknown reason really trying to get some cash in hand. I've also never seen a mess like it, no one had cleaned or organized all weekend. Everything was all over the floors and spread throughout the house in random orders. I really hope the owners weren't left with that mess. I know these companies charge a lot of money for these sales and they seemed to do very little for their money. The owner should have just listed huge Barbie sale on other websites and sold it themselves without the huge fees. I would come and buy it all tomorrow, I just wasn't willing to pay this...
Read moreI've been to their store.. it was.. ok. Lived nearby, so would check it out, but was never anything for me.
But this review is for their actual estate sales. I went to one of their estate sales, and would never go back. The staff not in charge were super nice and friendly, but the ladies in charge of the auction were rude and unprofessional. They struggled to communicate with each other, struggled with math when you were buying, resulting in the cost seeming to continue to go up due to their prior errors. They are rude even to those buying in very very large quantities - in fact, those people were the ones they were rudest too. They are incredibly overpriced until the last day or two of the sale.
It's just very obvious when they are doing a sale, that their motive is to not sell so they can have the items in their store. Not what I'd want from my estate sale if I were to have one. And their bad attitudes and changing of prices, made me close to walking out despite having a large amount of items I was attempting...
