Thoroughly disappointed and will NOT be returning on a WEEKEND whatsoever. I waited 16 minutes for my table, got seated under a draft by the door with people constantly passing me, not to mention my table was way to close for comfort to passerby and the group next to me. I continued to wait for my server which took way to long to identify themselves to me after having to attended to be two different support staff. Once I placed my order for their Belgian waffle combo and it arrived to my table I immediately noticed the waffle itself was dry and unappealing as it had already come to my table crumbling. The best part of my meal was a side of fruit…by the time my service team came to check in on me I had finished my sides and made a note to tell them that the main portion of my order was dry even with butter and syrup which I then received a response to “Sorry we’re having a rough day.” with no further service recovery. NOW IM HAVING A ROUGH DAY LOL. I choose to support local business rather than a chain restaurant and am coming to find that I should have visited First Watch instead. Upset to have spent my time and money to still leave hungry after only touching a 1/4 of my main dish. Not even the cashier asked about my experience. I’m not one to leave skimpy tips but I don’t even know if what I left was justifiable. The only reason I’ll give this a two star is for the previous times I’ve encountered friendly staff who made it...
Read moreHad breakfast here for the third or fourth time today. The food is delicious, but service can use improvement. It took seven minutes to be greeted and another four minutes to get cup of coffee after being seated.
There was a loud and boisterous customer in the dining room, speaking into his cell phone and listening on the speaker. It was disturbing and disruptive to the dining room. I asked him to turn off the speaker so we all didn’t have to listen. He didn’t like that and became hostile and verbally abusive so I called the police and filed a harassment complaint. The staff needed to ask him to be more considerate of other customers, but they didn’t seem to care or be aware.
I was at the register, trying to pay, and he continued to harass me so I told the cashier I’m leaving, and he would have to pay for me. He followed me out, took my photo called me all kinds of names and threatened me. Once he stopped I went back in, paid the bill and recorded the staff agreeing the man was abusive and harassing. I left and called the police, they arrived, I gave my statement and they handled it from there.
Won’t be going back since the staff clearly isn’t trained well how to handle situations like this, or...
Read moreNo value. WAY too pricey for cafe food. We've been coming to this place for many many years and now we're done. Went in yesterday with my father to order breakfast, and it was the usual irritation of being shoehorned into a tiny spot and then waiting for quite some time for assistance from server staff. They serve eggs, and potatoes, and biscuits with gravy and they described it as two biscuits with gravy, but it's one biscuit halved, a tiny little pile of dried potatoes, and a couple of fairly normal looking eggs. I'm not saying the food was poor quality but there is seldom a sausage bit to be found in the 'sausage gravy' and sausage isn't even served with the breakfast, you would have to purchase that extra for another $6. So they serve the easiest things in the world to produce for human beings: potato's and eggs and bread with gravy made of water, spices, and flour. And then charge $15 for the whole mess. It's not terribly filling and it is incredibly expensive considering I can fix stick to your ribs gourmet biscuits and gravy for six people for $35. We're done with this place. I see no reason to go back. Besides all of that: I'm a better cook. So long,...
