It took us at least 30 minutes to get our food, and it took my wife three tries to get her spinach wrap made. This location has been going downhill for years now. So it was pretty concerning when we arrived tonight and a teenage boy was now the sole person in charge of the restaurant. He had only one other coworker, who he was expected to train while they handled the evening rush. Now don't get me wrong, I'm glad this location was getting some foot traffic. Things have been pretty bad since so many people stopped working in offices, plus the franchisee went all-in on their Crisp & Green franchise next door, drywalling off 50% of the Which Wich floor space. But these two (more like 1.5) boys could not handle the work. They were very slow, very inattentive, and just let themselves get farther and farther behind. In the process, food got burned and they had to start all over again, backing them up more. I witnessed two customers curse them out.
Ya'll have some decisions to make. This location just isn't sustainable anymore. It's not a matter of having enough people, or having them trained up. Ultimately, if this place is open, it needs to run according to your standards. That's not "reviewing things with the GM" whoever that is (never seen him/her). I encourage you to show up for dinner any night you wish, and give this location a try. There's no way you've been physically present here on a Saturday night for a very, very long time. If that's too much work, or it's below you, or there are too many other fires to put out, I get it, I've been there. All I'm saying is, the people you're trusting to run the place aren't, and they haven't been for months now. It either needs to get your undivided attention at the right level, or you should put this location out...
Read moreI don't expect 5 star service and white linen tablecloths, considering this is a sandwich shop. What I do expect is to get what I asked and paid for. This afternoon's experience was just poor customer service. I ordered a turkey sandwich with a few toppings, including avocado and extra mayo and thousand island dressing on the side. I also ordered a chocolate milkshake. The milkshake was sat on the counter for me had chocolate shake dripping down the side and all around the lid. Spent a good couple of minutes cleaning that up while I waited on my sandwich. My sandwich was also just sat on the counter for me with only the thousand island dressing, no extra mayo as requested. All three employees were no where to be found for me to ask for the mayo again. Leave, get home, and see that my sandwich has no avocado. I get that mistakes happen, but seriously, the order is written out for them to read. It isn't that...
Read moreWe had never been to Which Wich. The guy AR the counter asked and when we said no he quickly said fill out one of those sheets (waving a hand at a counter by the door) if you are order from the menu or doing build you own. That was it. I asked if they could do vegan and they said they did not know and would not check. My adult son tried to order a sandwhich and for the bread thought he was choosing a custom bread but turned out it was a bowl saying it was listed with the bread and the slip was not clear but no one was around to help as they all went behind a wall coming back a while later to ask if we were ready. He also indicated no tomato. We paid $11 for a small side salad with wilted lettuce and tomato. We could not see what they were making and only discovered the issue when they put it on a ledge for us to take. We will...
