IHOP — Restaurant in Lancaster

Sorry in advance for the long post... So for the past few years since My Aunts arrived back in the antelope valley they have given I-Hop on Ave K many chances. They have always enjoyed I-Hop but every time we've gone in to this location it's always something.. first time they had a group of people and got the worst service they have ever received, until the next time, when there were only three of them. It was not busy I think there were only a few people besides them, but it took them forever to even ask what they wanted to drink, then they finally took their order, it took forever for our food to come out and it was cold, she asked for an order of onion rings to go, And they were cold. The next time they were the only ones in the restaurant and again it took forever for service, one girl took their order then promptly left the restaurant never to be seen again. When the food was finally brought to them it was completely wrong.. not at all what was ordered.. she keeps saying she will never return.. but today she really wanted good pancakes, it was very busy she figured they employees might do something besides stand around with their thumbs up their rear. Service was just okay but better than they have had in a while, food came out promptly.. but they asked for some extra butter and a different flavor syrup and we sat there waiting... Then finally after about 10 or so minutes they asked another waitress for the same thing and she finally brought them what they asked for. However they never saw her again.. they sat there for long time waiting for someone to bring them the bill, My other aunt decided to go outside and have smoke while they waited.. when she came back in she was still waiting and my aunt left to go to the bathroom.. on her way there she asked for the bill they said they would bring it over, but when she got back they still hadn't brought it. Once they did the waitress proceeded to run my aunt's card and added the tip herself... My Aunt was confused because she's put a cash tip on the table already. Well my confused aunt went ahead and signed the tablet to accept the total, then promptly took the cash off the table and they left. She is appalled that the waitress automatically added her own tip which was more than what was already on the table.. not by a lot but that's not the point, they tip according to the service they received. So I'm going to say this was the last straw for them they will NEVER return to this establishment again. No more chance from them... In my honest opinion this taking advantage of the elderly and fraudulent and Rant over!!!! Ps people have suggested she takes legal action over the fact that waitress applied the...

Where should I start 1st as we sat down waiting for someone to assist us. Another family came in after my wife and I .one of the waitresses or managers came over an without asking who was next went directly to the other family that came in after us.We had been waiting at least 5min before they entered IHOP .She immediately asked them how many.After my wife had told her We were a party of two but totally ignored my wife and seated them before us. 2nd we had a coupon that they said was no good at that particular location gave us some lame excuse why they were no good let’s say it was a total false advertisement moment 3. My wife’s waffle was hard as a rock overcooked 4th One of the plates was for senior citizen, but still the bill for two people was over 60 bucks IHOP should be a shame .I will never go back to IHOP again. that was ridiculous. I will never let this happen again and refuse to spend my hard earned money at an establishment and Be treated in this manner with this type of service I didn’t go into the fact that we were a different race then the manager waitress and the family that came in after us.They were all the same race .Oh yes, I gave them one star but let me emphatically say this incident shouldn’t even have gotten one...

This is a nice story we're I was block from using Uber eats and instacart for requesting my money back as you can see this is nasty they refused to refund me and blocked my accounts instead this is to Warn the community that this companies are choosing failed and illegal practices and that IHOP just don't know how to cook !! All be were I hope this reaches everyone and helps them to pick better choices not like I did wow not they saying I can't get a refund because I complained after 7 days lol. And I should not hassitat to reach out next time with in 7 days lol law suit pending in a few day every agency will have heard about this and I am hoping you loose all the business every business you loose means a customer was saved from this tragic experience you say you want give a refund this review will save the people in a few days the follow up is not going to change I have not went to your IHOP in years now I decided to go once and I will not go back to eat there the service is terrible the food is nasty and now I know now everyone knows !!!
