IPhone Repair Lancaster — Local services in Lancaster

A couple weeks ago in the month of February, and after calling a few cell stores around town, I went to iPhone repair Lancaster/Mobilelink Communications to repair my Galaxy Note 20 Ultra 5G with a broken screen, because they were the only store in town that had the part needed for the repair and could have it done before I left town for vacation. After when I received the phone back from repair, I noticed a tiny bit of yellow glue seeping out from the side of the phone, at the time and thought nothing of it, because it was not too noticeable, paid the 420.00+ for the repairs and took the phone. After almost a month later I noticed my side button stopped working, and I had to keep the phone fully charged to prevent it from shutting down, because when it did, I had a very hard time to turn it on. So, when I came back to iPhone repair Lancaster/Mobilelink Communications, the taller gentlemen of the two that works there said, we don’t touch the side button and pulled out another part that was used to replace my part and said again see we do not touch the side button, but he did say that to repair the side button it will cost me another 120.00, of course I declined that option and left. I finally went to D and D Wireless in Lancaster near the Boulevard, had them checked the button and he discovered that they used the wrong kind of adhesive for cell phone repairs and some of the glue seeped down to the circuit connectors where side button is as you can see in the picture below. David from D and D Wireless corrected the errors made by iPhone repair Lancaster/Mobilelink Communications by cleaning the connectors and he also replaced the back cover which was damaged due to the wrong adhesive used all for free, and I am a very happy new customer. I will never return to iPhone repair Lancaster/Mobilelink Communications they are crooks, and I will be recommending my co-workers, friends, and family to D and D Wireless for their cell phone...

This place is subpar for repairs. If anyone has an expensive phone that needs repairs, do not come here. I got my phone screen replaced here and came back with more issues than I expected. One, the adhesive used, they do not use adhesive strips like every other repair shop uses. They use their own adhesive, which leaves residue all over the back of the phone and on the inside of the phone(which could lead to issues down the line). Also, they don't remove the previous adhesive used. So, if you want to get your phone repaired again(for whatever reason), you will have an adhesive mess. Two, the cameras, they will touch your camera in such a way that may damage the inside lenses. My main camera has a scratch on it, I didn't come for a camera replacement, I came for a screenplacement. I had to go to another shop to see what the issue was and saw that the main camera has scratches on it. Not only scratches but even fingerprints, too. If you confront any of the two men about this, they will deny this and say, "we don't touch that." I paid a lot of money to get my phone repaired, and now I have more issues than what I paid for. While yes, I got my screen replaced, I did not ask for my phone to be touched like this. There is one more issue that is a problem, the frame of my phone is not the US version, but the international version. They transferred all the parts from my US model to the international frame and left a bracket that was not meant to be there. This left my back glass raised. This could lead to issues with the water resistance of the phone. Lastly, the two men will barely admit to a mistake like the ones mentioned above. This is unprofessional, in my opinion. First off I would like to say I came here because if the high reviews which must clearly be fraudulent. I purchased a screen replacement on my iPhone and they charged me originally $225 but supposedly my phone needed some “special part “ so they charged an extra $35 no problem literally not even 10 min of me leaving my phone was not working I went back to the store at least 3 times in a matter of 1 hour till the last hour when it went back off they were closed had to wait until the next day went in they said they couldn’t help me I ask for my money back as I feel that you all just stole from me literally like you took my money and didn’t provide the service and I told them they can take that stupid screen back because my phone was still not working. I’m not a racist but the guy I’m referring to is the tall white big belly guy he was so rude and disrespectful telling me oh well and I have to wait until Tuesday and who cares and just nasty . Please stay away if he felt this comfortable doing this to me imagine how many others he have wronged. He then held all the side buttons on my phone to make it have to do a security lock out so his justification was my phone was locked out for 8 hours.
