For anyone who feels they need to salt and pepper their food before tasting, BEWARE! These cooks are EXPERT Seasoning Artists. For the first time EVER, I never felt the need to add salt, pepper, hot sauce, etc., to my meal. There is so much flavor in every item on this menu, you know it's made just for you and with love for their patrons. From our server Sam, a very sweet young girl who is more than willing to help you discover something amazing on the menu to the entire staff that welcomes you with a warm friendly greeting. Not one of those robotic "my boss will kill me if I don't say "Welcome to....". Everyone is kind, our cups never fell below half and they are able to maintain a standing room only line from open to close at a pace that one might expect mistakes. NOT ONE! Very much unnoticeable from the outside in spite of the catchy name which was a cartoon show " back in the day ". Retro interior decor including a jukebox and black and white checkerboard floor and old movie posters. One wall was decorated with with vinyl records, 45 and 33 1/3 RPMs (if you know, you know). LOL We were greeted as soon as we entered and told to sit anyplace we wanted to. Server took our order almost as soon as we were seated and food was delivered unbelievably fast. I had the katzen jammer omelette which was made with sausage, green onions and two kinds of cheese with country gravy which was served hot and was very good,biscuits with country gravy which contained chunks of sausage links and also hot and good. Seriously, the best burgers! Freshly made and full of flavor! The lettuce, tomato, and onion tasted like they just came from the garden. The pickles were fresh and crunchy. The french fries were perfectly seasoned and didn't even need ketchup. We also ordered onion rings. They were crunchy and flavorful. I loved the batter.
