Wendy's — Restaurant in Lancaster

UPDATE 8/26/2020: My previous review was responded to, and true to what was said, this location has improved drastically. The line was long and took a little while but it wasn't an unbearable wait, and the food was much better than the last time. Sadly, they still don't have the maple chicken sandwich but I'm sure it will come back. I'm glad I gave this another chance, and if I'm ever craving fast food it will once again be an option. Just remember to ask for straws and spoons and ketchup if you need any if those things! Thank you for making this location better 🙂 The employee in side at the register was extremely nice and I give her and the staff there a plus because it's the only good thing about the place the drive-thru line takes forever and despite all the technology they still can't managed to make an order be correct. In this case I do not refer to giving me the wrong item but to the fact that the spicy chicken sandwich seemed old and stale and overcooked like it should have been thrown away and wasn't, and instead they just recooked it. If you plan on going I recommend going inside so you can see what you're getting and if people are wearing gloves or are sick. The fries were surprisingly good and if fries are your big thing you can always request unsalted so they make a fresh batch and then salt them...

Went in for a couple breakfast combos. The person that took my order was amazing. Big ups to her. I approached the window. I get my drinks an my order. I went to look in the bag, but just thought it was fast to just ask. Can I get a few more hot sauce please..?? I was looked at and told let me ask??? Ask who I was clearly speaking to the manager I used to work at a Wendy’s I know the different shirts. She walked away from the window. Came back with a hand full of packets for me. Then demanded that on my next return to ask ahead of time!!! Why did she have to be so rude in the face and voice when expressing that?? I work at a restaurant and I wouldn’t tell my customers like that. It’s my job. I get paid to get whatever. Just as when I go out to eat and my server does for me. There was a short line, I had only 3 cars ahead of me, I kid you not… I ordered around 6:03pm and left at 6:28!

I clock in at 6:30 but went in late today because the people here take forever with your order!

On top of that, they won’t even remake your food if it’s cold or melted… If I’m paying for a service I expect to experience DECENT customer service at the very least. My frosty was melted half way down and the fries were cold. I asked for ONE barbecue for my chicken nuggets and the lady told me they didn’t have any while I was placing my order: Here’s my thing, I have worked fast food before, there is always sauce in the back, while they were taking their time with the orders in front of me, why couldn’t they go refill the sauce buckets ? I was so upset and I don’t think I’ll go to this Wendy’s...
