Zero Degrees Custard & Ice — Restaurant in Lancaster

Oh. My. Gosh!!!!! 😋😋😋 So, I am allergic to food dye red #40, so when I go out for ice cream 99% of the time I get something chocolate/coffee flavored bc it's least likely to have the dreaded food dye. Well today I went to zero degree on Lancaster Blvd, we spoke with Patrick who was working the counter (he was great and super friendly and gave out huge samples!) He tried to give me a sample of something that was VERY red and I asked if he knew if it had the dye. His response made me SO HAPPY!!! His sister makes the ice cream/italian ice/custard and doesn't put ALL THE JUNK in it!!! I got a cup of black cherry custard with watermelon and berry italian ice on top!!!! My cup was SOOOOO PINK!!!!! I have most definitely found my new favorite ice cream spot!!!! 😁😁😁 Oh, and bonus... The spoons...

Small place with flavorful Italian ice and creamy candy filled ice cream. Flavors had no names. So you either asked or picked based on looks. You can tell the regular customers cause all their orders looked so delicious. Compared to the first time customers like myself who's order looked basic af. Crepes are avaliable and made to order in front of you with different fruit or chocolate filing options. Price is 5 to 15 a person. Funny enough if your out getting ice cream and forgot to pick up your cbd products for the week. No worries they sell it all here. Looks to be a newer business. Place was full of customers. This was a weird visit as I have been here before. The staff ignored my family and took the orders of people who came in after us. Staff members would make eye contact and then walk to the back and come out to help people who came in after us. One staff member was instructed to help my family but instead passed us up and went to the back of the store and once again came out and help other people who came in after us. This is not how you keep people coming back. We will back to speak with the manager in the morning as it appeared the staff tonight was more concerned with socializing with friends that came in the store than actually doing the jib they are...
