Review for Barista Yogi at Starbucks - 6300 Annapolis Road, Hyattsville, MD
âď¸âď¸âď¸âď¸âď¸
I had an outstanding experience at the Starbucks on 6300 Annapolis Road, and I want to give a special shoutout to Yogi, the barista who prepared my order with remarkable attention to detail and care.
When I arrived, the store wasnât particularly busy, and Yogi greeted me with a genuine smile that immediately brightened my day. His smile was warm and welcoming, making me feel comfortable and appreciated as a customer right from the start. Itâs small gestures like this that can make all the difference in a customerâs experience.
I had placed a mobile order consisting of three items: a Trenta Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew, an Impossible Sausage Sandwich, and a Pumpkin Cream Cheese Muffin. Yogi crafted each item to perfection. The Trenta Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew was fantastic â the cold brew was rich and smooth, and the pumpkin cream had the ideal balance of sweetness and spice, making the drink truly enjoyable. The drink was filled just right, with the perfect amount of ice, and topped with a frothy pumpkin cream layer, reflecting Yogiâs attention to every detail.
The Impossible Sausage Sandwich was warmed perfectly, just as I requested. It was served hot and fresh, with the plant-based sausage having a juicy texture, and the bread was soft and warm. Yogi clearly took the time to ensure the sandwich was prepared just right, which I truly appreciated.
The Pumpkin Cream Cheese Muffin was another highlight of my visit. Yogi warmed it perfectly, achieving a moist and flavorful interior with a slightly crisp exterior. The cream cheese filling was smooth and complemented the pumpkin flavors wonderfully. The muffin tasted fresh and delicious, a delightful treat to enjoy with my coffee.
Even though the store wasnât busy, Yogiâs attention to detail and dedication to providing an excellent customer experience was evident. His genuine smile and positive demeanor added a special touch to my visit, making it memorable. He maintained a clean workspace, worked efficiently, and demonstrated a true passion for his craft.
Yogiâs outstanding service and friendly attitude made my morning coffee run a truly delightful experience. He is a true asset to the Starbucks team, and I hope his hard work and dedication are recognized. Thank you, Yogi, for making my day a little brighter with your excellent service and contagious smile! I look forward to returning to this location for another...

Food = âď¸âď¸âď¸ Stars ~ Some days the baristaâs are on point other times my Frappuccinos are left watered down or they forget to blend the ingredients. Ultimately it could be due to the next point.
Service = âď¸ Star ~ The long wait times due to lines both inside and drive-thru. Yes Starbucks is very popular, so the service should match, either hire more qualified well mannered people or support Mobile drive-thru only orders. Especially when it comes to the drive-thru, copy Chipotleâs Chipolane where all you do is collect mobile orders instead of waiting behind customer who think this is a Taco Bell. Next key note two times my lid was not probably sealed and on contact with cup older it spilled out on my hand and into my vehicle. Thank goodness they were cold beverages.
Atmosphere = âď¸âď¸ Stars ~ Nice indoor vibe, minus the occasional crowded open area where the staff repeatedly forget to say your name, or acknowledge that you just ordered something. Then you approach the pick up counter fishing for your order like a prison commissary list. Sometimes youâre lucky and your order wasnât snatched by another person by accident. Then you return to the order counter and informed them that your order is not there. Now thatâs settle time to Restart your wait timer.
Sorry this review was long winded, but it was a long time coming. Safe to say I will not return to this Starbucks until a retraining, or rehiring of the staff is completed.
Thank you for reading this far! Cheers and hope your experiences were...
Read moreThey get my coffee order wrong EVERY SINGLE TIME. And when I ask them to remake it correctly they get an attitude and say thatâs the standard despite me going to numerous other Starbucks and my drink is made correctly and I ask them is this the correct way and they say YES this is the way it is suppose to be made. So I guess ALL the other Starbucks are making it incorrectly except them. Highly UNLIKELY. For clarification my drink is an Iced Espresso Doppio in a tall cup with 5pumps of classic syrup, a splash of sweet cream with vanilla sweet cream foam. The CORRECT order in which EVERY other Starbucks gets correct except this one is the espresso and syrup are added at the bottom, THEN the ice and THEN the milk base and last the foam. Doing it in this order creates the gradient and gives me the taste of an espresso with a slow mixing of the milk. THIS Starbucks âSTANDARDâ is to add the milk base before the ice which cancels out the gradient and mixes the espresso with the milk immediately which I do not prefer! The atmosphere at this Starbucks is extremely childish. The staff plays around with each other very loudly which is distracting when I come there to work, they also do not address LOUD patrons who a being a disturbance. They are overall RUDE and...
