But it's gone downhill since the "renovations" The food is always cold but egg rolls are nice and hot Plates, sizes and portions are always different for some reason Sometimes you get more or less I usually always order the same thing lately I enjoy brown sauce with non breaded chicken with veggies Not just filler veggies like onions and peppers (I don't mind picking out) Chinese restaurants in America are almost all the same Anyone notice that ? Why is it like that anyways? I'm just generally curious Why does General doesn't get veggies? Why are they all in general the same menu? It's nice they have some unique choices here like honey pepper chicken , Bourbon Mr & Mrs Smith ect I love honey pepper But lately it's been heavy on the black pepper so It's bothered my stomach unfortunately

I feel bad for the young new server He gets overwhelmed and behind but tries hard He needs more training A suggestion If you work here and see him in the weeds while you sit at a table on your phone maybe have a lil sense of urgency and help him out once you actually get up? We can see you on your phone then slowly get up and go into the back and stand in the doorway on your phone I only hope it's online orders Automatically assuming everyone is being taking care of in a timely fashion is never the case When we come in Or maybe they don't care I don't know I saw a couple wait 15 min for menus Us 10 for our tea He's running all over the place tho. We didn't come here this week because of our last 4 experiences When you work hard for every penny every experience you spend it on counts

I have been searching for a good pad thai since I moved to Lansing. Half of my reviews are for Thai places. The only one I liked didn’t deliver, so I’ve been trying almost every single place in my area.

I like my pad Thai with no meat, but extra egg. Every place I ask for this from under-delivers. They’re usually fine but not as much egg as I would like. The first time I ordered from Apple Jade, I made the request as usual and it was great! I made the same request when I ordered it again a few days later (hey, when one finds good pad Thai), and it was even better. I was surprised to find such good Pad Thai from somewhere that’s not technically a Thai restaurant.

I am so appreciative that they’re willing to fulfill my special request. My fiance has gotten their General Tso’s and Orange Chicken and has said both times that the chicken is really good quality. All the portions are huge for how inexpensive they are, and the food is always still really hot and fresh when it’s delivered.

Second time eating here. First time service and food very good. On Valentine’s Day 2025 we came here for lunch . My husband ordered a spicy chicken dish lunch combo & I ordered combo meal shrimp with veggies. Waiter brought food, except minus my egg roll. When we asked about it, he said I never ordered that, even though I reminded him I did and had pointed to it. My husbands dish had NO spice ! The music was hip hop with foul language … we asked it they could change or turn down. Waiter said some people like it and would not turn it or turn down. I had had enough and put my jacket on to leave, waiter took a long time bringing check. He again told me next time I come back to make sure I verbally tell him the dish I wanted. 🙄 I will never, never go back!!! Bland food and crap music, bad server…....
