SO during the NFC championship game we ordered online as always went to get our food and was greeted by a mass of upset people. one man was being told they had to cut the amounts of cheese and such as they was running out of food to fill orders. like ok i was worried at this point. thirty mins goes by and finally get my food. went home went to get our food and well the dough was so thin less then it would be if it was thin crust. no cheese at all to be seen almost no sauce the ham and onions and other toppings were great but with next to no crust and no cheese or sauce it tasted horrible. I have always went to dominoes they are the only place I order from as they have always been great until now. my husband has reached out online and through corporate 3 times as well as myself and no one has contacted us back not one time no refund no replacement nothing. Upon reviewing his review they did send him a comment for him to call them so they can get a five star review. like excuse me you should call him he has reached out you have his info already but you expect him to not just email you but also call you? what happen to customer service i understand there are people who abuse the system but i even took pics and reached out to just get what we ordered. we had to go buy Kfc that night since the pizza was un edible so we paid for dinner twice that night since they was to busy to answer the phnes and I was not about to go up there and even try to get it replaced the same night since we already knew they was cutting amounts in half to fill orders. this is unacceptable and unheard of. if you run out of stuff you shut down or give the customer the choice to still order or not after knowing amounts will be not what they are normally. seriously. that said Ill update this review once they speak to my husband to see if they are going to...
Read moreI was really excited when I found out that Lapeer was getting a Domino’s again. I have had some really great pizza at several locations in Michigan & several out of state as well. However, this one in Lapeer is subpar. The last few times we ordered it was not good & the order was messed up, but I thought it was because they had just opened up, so I gave them time to work out their issues. That is not the case (as I found) when ordering from them today. I ordered the food via the app & sent my man to go get it. Domino’s did not give him the 2 liter of root beer that I ordered. The wings that were supposed to be honey BBQ were plain. They didn’t give me the 2 ranch dressings that were ordered. They didn’t put any flavor on the crust of the pizza, which was supposed to be garlic. Plus, the pizza was not good at all. It was super thin & not crispy at all, but was ordered as a well done hand tossed round.
To top that all off, when we called about the missing 2 liter the girl who answered the phone was very rude. She tried to tell us twice that we didn’t order a 2 liter. Although, we did & the $2.99 charge was on the receipt. She rudely then asked what the name on the order was & found it, but then blamed my fiancé for not telling them to grab the 2 liter. Then when we mentioned the wings not being BBQ she was rude again & put us on hold & came back & told us we could drive back up for a replacement. There was no apology whatsoever. Needless to say, we didn’t drive back up there. I am not planning to be ordering from them again anytime soon. I will stick to the other pizza companies in Lapeer that actually care about their customers. This is the worst Dominos that I’ve ever seen with the rudest...
Read moreThe place looks nice, but unfortunately, that’s where the positives end. When I walked in, the staff glanced at me, then went right back to whatever they were doing—one person even looked up from their phone, turned around, and disappeared to the back. I stood at the counter for a few minutes before someone reluctantly acknowledged me, only to pass me off to someone else who clearly didn’t want to help either.
Finished pizzas were just left out on the counter instead of being kept warm in a warmer. The thin crust pizza was overcooked to the point of being hard and dry, with barely any sauce. The cinnamon twists were just plain dough with a dusting of cinnamon—nothing special. The regular pizza was okay, but definitely not worth $17.
Maybe I caught them on an off day, but the whole experience felt like a lack of management and care. I’d suggest saving your money and trying...
