3rd Street Bar — Restaurant in Laramie

The bar was not crowded but it still took 10 min to get my order in. The bartender was so wasted drunk, she had to borrow a customer's cell phone to calculate the total, and still messed it up. I had to help her do math... She poured me a quadruple makers-mark on the rocks in a pint glass instead of a double, and made the most alcohol fueled and un-drinkable lemon drop for my wife and our friend that could have fueled a stock car... It took me almost 5 minutes to explain to her that I had already handed her a $20 bill. The owner with the mustache was more concerned about showing off a bottle of chambourd to a friend than helping run the counter.

I want to be clear, I leave mostly positive reviews, in fact I make a point of it, and even if things don't go right, I will look for the bright side.

This was the WORST bar experience I have ever had hands down.

The cajun pasta was perhaps the worst, blandest pasta dish I've ever had. It tasted like the cook had mixed kraft cheese powder with a cup of milk, the tiniest dash of off-the-shelf dry seasoning, and canned seafood. It amounted to a vomit-colored slop that was, to this date, the only meal I've deliberately left unfinished at any restaurant I've been to. I would have asked the server to it take it back for the cook to taste if I could've gotten her attention. The rest of my party's dishes weren't much better. Nobody finished their meals, and nobody took home boxes. We left with nearly full plates of uneaten food sitting out because of how unappetizing they were. Frankly embarrassing, never...

3rd St is the BEST! Its a straight forward bar but great and friendly staff, and the drinks are no joke! They have a limited menu and only serve food for a limited number of hours a day but the fried pickles are the best in town. The owners are awesome and frequently work in the bar as well and are always down for a friendly chat. It looks a little small on the outside but has plenty of seating inside and is always clean. It is frequently a little crowded but that just proves its such a great place that people come back again and again!

All in all a great fun place to go for a great drink after work or for a night...
