Where do I start.. walked in with my family for the first time and the sign said wait to be seated. We waited ten minutes which we should of walked out..being new to Wyoming we had been recommended to try your restraunt. Which I wish my family would have never listened to their recommendation. Finally I had to reach out to a waitress in the bar and asked if I can get a table outside and she said yes if there was one available. I had told her that I seen a table before waking in that was available. We sat down. Waiting for 15! minutes for water drinks or any communication. Good thing a table that barley fit 6 people that she welcome, she realizes that we were there. Finally got water and menus no drink menu or silver ware. Table not cleaned my husband had to wipe it down. There is so many negatives to write about food, service, cleanliness to write about. Just that 3 hours sitting and waiting for the worse experience!! Don't waste your time or money coming to this Library. One example makes me laugh my husband had to eat his coleslaw with his knife for his hamburger. Apparently ran out of silver...
Read moreFirst impressions are everything! After a long day of travel, the Library came highly recommended by our hotel manager and a friend we knew from Laramie. When we arrived, we came through the bar entrance and went into the restaurant area and sat down. We were chastised for not checking in with the host. Who knew? There was no sign that said check in with host. It was our first time in the city. “Brian” was extremely rude. We should have left and went to the Altitude. It too, was highly recommended. It was difficult to enjoy our meal. If we ever get back in the area, we won’t be back to eat at the Library! In in response to your reply to my review. Had we not been with my 90 year old parents we would have left. You need a “Please wait to be seated” sign. This is a bar and grill, not fine dining. As far as your 35 reservations, we were there for almost 90 minutes. The place was never filled up with patrons and most of the tables were vacant when we arrived. As far as your kind words when we left, too...
Read moreI had heard of the library for a long time, mostly from younger folks that I work with. My husband and I are older. But we had always wanted to try their food. Neither of us are much craft beer connoisseur. The chicken wings were the best wings I've had in Laramie ever, they were crispy hot, not gummy at all. I had the Thai hot and my husband had the buffalo. We each had a library burger, he had onion rings and I had the seasoned fries. The onion rings were beer battered and mediocre, but the burger was delicious and the bun was crispy and warm at the same time. Done just perfectly on a flat top. I really enjoyed the season fries which were kind of a cross between a steak plank and a waffle fry, they were crispy and powdery both just yummy potato goodness.. the service was very good, and I thought the prices were reasonable considering what I paid for a burger at other places in town. We went before 5:00 in the afternoon, and the place was nice and empty and quiet. We will...
