Turtle Rock Coffee & Cafe — Restaurant in Laramie

This place is a constant disappoint. None of the employees are polite AT ALL. They consistently mess everything up, nothing can ever be done correctly. And when asked politely to correct their screw ups, they act rude and childish. Today for example, they made a mocha Frappuccino that was not right. It tasted like watered down coffee. When politely asked to remake it, the lady rudely walked by and said “if you want it fixed you have to get up and come to the front.” When we walked around to the front, the employee was slamming things around and complaining about remaking the drink. She brought it back and rudely threw it on the table and failed to bring a straw. In other situations, they forget to make your drink entirely and then blame it on the new staff members that are working there for “doing their jobs incorrectly” in front of customers. I had to call them to refund the coffee a week later because it still had not been done although they stated that it would be done that very day. To say the least, I would advise others to go ANYWHERE but here for their coffee as the rude service and incorrect orders are not even worth the heartache. It is definitely something that you won’t feel bad about missing out on as the food and coffee are mediocre even when done correctly. I certainly will not...

This is not the first time I've ordered from Turtle Rock, and once again, the plain waffle did not come with syrup as indicated on the online menu. This time, I also ordered instant oatmeal, but the oatmeal was missing from the order.

This morning, we were in a rush to head to Denver airport, but we had to come back to ask for the syrup and another missing item. The employee didn't even check the online menu and told me that the waffle doesn’t come with syrup. She also mentioned that she had planned to ask what flavor of oatmeal we wanted, which is why the oatmeal wasn’t prepared. However, no one mentioned this when my husband came to pick up the order, and we weren’t contacted about the missing items after we picked up the item.

It seems the employee didn't understand the details on their own menu, as she didn’t include the syrup and claimed it wasn’t part of the order. I also don’t understand the point of supporting small businesses when I continue to receive incomplete orders, especially after leaving a tip on my...

I'm not sure how busy a Saturday in Laramie Wyoming is, but this little shop was steady busy when we arrived.

The atmosphere was very modern with the typical hipster, coffee house vibe.

The staff, was very chatty, and not necessarily with customers... so the efficiency was quite sub-par, to put it lightly.

We'd ordered two light lunch items, and it seemed 25 minutes was a bit excessive for what was needed to complete the order...... Especially while watching a steady stream of others come in, order as much, or more, than we had, and be gone before I could drink a small cup of water!!

When we finally gotten the attention of the "baristas" by standing in line, again, with the order of our number, it took maybe 2-3 more minutes to witness or order being made in what seemed to be a rush for someone that looked as if they'd just rolled out of bed.

We felt like we more of inconvenience to a social clucking event.

Oh, and the food- I've had better from McDonald's.
