Mr. Crabby's was chosen by my 11 yr old son as a reward for his hard work boxing. I am not a seafood person, but I was willing to try it out for him. When we walked in, we were greeted enthusiastically by a friendly waitress. The restaurant was nearly empty, so we got our choice of seats. The atmosphere was amazing! Everything was decorated in fisherman wharf style. It was dimly lit, creating a comfortable atmosphere. Very nice! My son ordered the craw fish. The crawfish was fine, but the sausage that came with it was cold. The butter dip was flavorless. I am not a seafood lover, so of course, I ordered the chicken wings. They were horrible. That's what I get for ordering chicken at a seafood restaurant. They tasted like fish, and the buffalo sauce was.......well, not Buffalo sauce. The cajun fries were ok. Nothing really wrong, just not amazing. No wonder the place was dead. We won't be going back. P.s. I also went to the restroom to wash my hands and almost passed out choking on the smell. Ruined my appetite.

Our first experience at Mr Crabby’s was absolutely fantastic, thanks in large part to our incredible server, Michael. From the moment we were seated, he made us feel welcome and well taken care of. Michael was not only friendly and attentive, but he also went above and beyond to ensure we had the best possible experience. He guided us through the menu with genuine enthusiasm, made thoughtful recommendations, and was incredibly knowledgeable about the seafood selections—which really helped since it was our first time here. His timing was perfect, his attitude was warm and professional, and he made sure every detail was just right. It's rare to find service that feels this personal and sincere. Michael truly elevated our evening, and we’re already looking forward to coming back—especially if we can be lucky enough to have him as our server again!

Good cajun seafood place in Laredo. They allow you to order by the pound as well as offer other, mostly fried, options. I only knocked one star because of the lack of variety (no grilled gator? Jambalaya pasta? Any pasta?) compared to other cajun places. You also can't substitute many of the dishes and need to either order it as a side (if possible) or try and get someone who ordered by the pound to give you some. Else you just deal with it. They should add a build your own option and that would be perfect. Otherwise, good clean place to eat some cajun seafood by the pound!

I recently had the pleasure of being served by Kendra at Mr.Crabby's. Her exceptional service left a lasting impression, and I wanted to share my delightful experience.

From the moment I sat down, the waitress greeted me with a warm and friendly smile. She was attentive, making sure I had everything I needed throughout my meal. Her presence was pleasant and added to the welcoming atmosphere of the restaurant.

The waitress was efficient and prompt in taking my order and delivering the food. She had a great sense of timing, ensuring that my meal arrived in a timely manner. She also checked back periodically to ensure my satisfaction and if there was anything else I needed.

What stood out about this waitress was her genuine kindness and helpfulness. She went above and beyond to accommodate any special requests I had and was patient in answering my questions about the menu. Her cheerful and positive attitude made the dining experience all the more enjoyable.

Throughout the meal, the waitress displayed excellent attention to detail. She kept my water glass filled and promptly cleared empty plates from my table. Her attentiveness made me feel valued as a customer and contributed to a seamless dining experience.

In conclusion, Kendra was exceptional in every aspect. Her friendly demeanor, efficiency, attentiveness, and genuine kindness made my visit truly memorable. I highly recommend dining at Mr.Crabby's and experiencing the outstanding service provided by this...

Boil and blessings

A crack of claw, a buttered drip, Steam rising from each seasoned sip. Corn and taters, shrimp in piles, Laid out in southern, saucy styles.

Crab legs stretch like ocean bones, Spiced just right, no need to moan. Garlic lingers on the air, A feast so rich, none can compare.

But what’s a boil without the soul, The one who makes the service whole? With napkin flair and perfect pour, Ralph glides like grace across the floor.

Eyes that sparkle, jokes that land, Refills waiting, extra hand. A bib offered with regal charm, Wiping mess without alarm.

Ralph read the table like a tale, Each guest a verse, each smile a sail. And in his steps, a rhythm sways, The heartbeat of our dining praise.

So here’s to spice, and here’s to steam, To coastal joy and Cajun dreams— But mostly, cheers to that kind face, Who turned a meal...
