First off the rating is not based on the food. It is based on the service. I had never ordered from Chick-fil-A before today. I was simply ordering an ice cream cone for my son at the mall food court. Our order was taking while we were next in line before going to the register by a young girl who was holding some type of ordering pad. She took the order and even asked for my name for the order and then she said nothing else and moved on to the next customer in line. I then proceeded to get out of the line since I had placed my order and no further instruction was given. We watched as everyone else who was in line behind us placed their orders and received them and moved on. When the last customer had gone through the line the same girl came up to us and asked if we would like to order. I then informed her that we had already ordered and had not received our order. She then proceeds to ask me if I had gone up to the register. I told her I placed the order with her and then she informed me that I then had to go to the register to complete my order. I told her that I wasn't told that, to which she simply stated the she just assumed we knew the process. To that I replied it was my first time ordering at Chick-fil-A, to which she looked surprised and simply stated "oops". She then asks if I want to place the order again and I refused and simply went to the register. The register staff member was indeed friendly and helpful, and took my order and promptly filled the order as well. I know Chick-fil-A takes pride in their customer service. But this time with this particular employee they failed miserably. It can't be assumed that everyone dines at Chick-fil-A. The food was good, just the service was bad. Read moreEmployees are rude and don’t know what they’re doing. Girl told me to wait on the side for my order and they’d call my name and they never did. Bag of food was left sitting there for over 15 minutes and employees would not even acknowledge me standing there so I could ask if the bag of food was even mine. Literally had to YELL “excuse me ma’am” because they weren’t paying attention. It was basically empty with just 2 others in line yet there were over 5 employees in the front. They forgot to put the sauce in the bag and when I went back to get one the girl Regina legit gave me an ugly look with attitude and didn’t hand me the sauce, instead she tossed them to me. Worst customer service ever. Spoke to manager and she didn’t do a thing, seemed very inexperienced. Both manager and employees need to be better trained. Definitely my last time buying chick fil a here, I’d rather drive to another location. Not leaving this comment to be rude but this was uncalled for. Read moreThe service is really great, I have no complaints there. Today I ordered curbside (first time for this particular restaurant). I had no problems, just missing one drink that they were able to bring our fairly quickly. The food was hot and the fries were nicely salted. My sandwich was not correct as you'll see in the pictures. The Large lemonade ended up being diet, and the ice cream cone was in a cup (which is understandable since the heat here makes ice cream melt real fast). I recommend verifying your order once you get it. This wasn't a bad experience, persay. I am too lazy to go back to get my order fixed.
