Received another call from the owner after filing a formal complaint with Dairy Queen as directed, and Mike was very rude. His reasons for refusing to make the tacos have changed again. I told him he didn't need to call me and waste his breath, and he said, "Then we are done talking," and he hung up on me. He's very unprofessional and shouldn't be in customer service!! Dairy Queen needs to look at their franchisees!! Mike and Dairy Queen have lost my business!!
I've been going to Dairy Queen to purchase eighteen tacos at least once or twice per week, but I request a whole hamburger patty cut in half and both halves placed in each taco. I've been doing this for months because they said they could substitute the taco meat with a hamburger patty. The taco meat is cold and tastes nasty, which is why I like the hamburger patties. I went in yesterday for a remake of their tacos like management told me to do because the cooks made a mistake on my order, and they only put half of a hamburger patty per taco. Yesterday, I was treated like a thief for requesting a remake of my tacos after being instructed to do this by management. I was told they wouldn't be able to make the tacos like this anymore because they are not formulary. Mike, the owner said he can not sell me tacos with a hamburger patty going forward because he will lose his ability to sell tacos if he doesn't follow the franchise formulary. I explained to Mike that Dairy Queen in Deming made tacos like this for over 50 YEARS until they closed due to the previous owner's sudden death. I was so happy to have been able to have tacos like the ones I would have when I was a kid. The tacos are comfort food to me, and they reminded me of my late grandmother. Now, I've not only lost my grandmother, but I've lost the tacos, too. I even offered to pay more for the tacos this way, but Mike refuses to allow his employees to make the tacos this way going forward. I usually buy tacos, chili dogs, hamburgers, and a lot of ice cream. I called corporate and was told each location is independently owned and operated, and they can do what they want. I'm waiting to hear back from corporate. Unfortunately, Mike has lost my business over his handling of this and his refusal to make the tacos this way...
Read moreThis used to be one of the best places to get an actual grilled fresh meat hamburger... note:(used to be actual meat)! Now it has gone to processed meat! The meat comes in a flower shaped ready made awful tasting processed patty and costs the same as it did before...When it was actual meat and tasted so good! Now it is literally junk food for sure! I am so glad that I was lucky enough to have taken my grand-daughter to have one of their old fashioned amazing hamburgers before they turned to the cheap side (except for their prices are still the same) and now it is absolutly junk and tastes like it also! I also ordered the chicken basket, this has also gone to the parts is parts of the chicken; that is that makes up their chicken strip's. They also used to be made with honest to goodness real meat from chicken, not whatever they are now (it used to be so good!) and the gravy was so good as well (THEY USED TO BE AMAZING! Point being they used to be!). The cost however is just as high as it was when their food was made with the REAL stuff! So and because of this I will no longer BE purchasing their food at any Dairy Queen! Because, I absolutely refuse to pay for food that absolutely tastes bad, bland and is nasty tasting processed food. Oh, and one the saddest part of the whole thing is to be charged the same amount for the junk processed food as I was charged for the good wholesome real food that wasn't processed about 3 to 4 months ago (give or take). Unfortunately, I will never ever buy anymore food from Dairy Queen!! I will never ever recommend their food to anyone ever again! Thank Goodness the ice cream is okay and the service is still good. What a shame that this company, like so many others has now allowed itself to skip the quality and center on quantity. They have definitely lost me as a food purchasing customer from now on! It's only ice-cream at Dairy Queen for me and my family...
Read moreI’ve gone to this Dairy Queen for decades I have family members that have worked here before. And just recently have I noticed such a drastic decline in customer service. It started w getting melted ice cream desserts at the drive thru window this has gone on consistently for the last year at least and I understand things happen but now it’s just consistent if there are a few people ahead of me I just count on getting melts ice cream. They don’t even do the upside down trick for blizzards anymore at this location I also go to locations in Texas and they do things drastically different. Today I’m prompted to leave a review because I got cones that were not even dipped all the way down and they were literally running into the napkin when I got them I asked them to please dip it all the way so it at least doesn’t drip on me they wanted me to pay for two more cones I asked to speak w the mgr and I was informed that they were all managers there. Then I was told that I was trying to steal from them by wanting a cone that was dipped correctly and not melted and if I want it made right then I needed to specify this upon ordering. I’m gonna make as huge of a deal about this encounter as I...
