My girlfriend was outright lied to by Art in collections. He told her that you have until tomorrow morning by 10:00 to make a payment or we are going to come pick up her car. The funny thing was she never missed a payment on her car. What she missed was a line credit loan. She is in the process office by a debt consolidation and told by the company it not to.make any payments until the consolidation has been finalized. Art at White Sands told her that it was secured by her car., which is an absolute lie but she wasn’t sure. She thought maybe they got linked together. My girlfriend became so distraught that she might lose her car, she got physically sick. She started crying like a baby. The worst part about it this took place st her work. When she told me what happened, I told her to meet me at the credit union, because we are going to get some answers. First thing I asked for was a copy of the contract and I wanted to see the security agreement proving that the line of credit was secured. They could only produce the promissory note. The bank still is refusing to release my funds and because they flagged my account as possible fraud this kept me from opening up an account with another bank. I've been banking with them for almost TEN years. They've given me no real reason why they won't remove the fraud alert or why they won't released my funds after I fully provided all the paperwork they asked for ana i confirmed that I did everything they needed. The funds they are withholding are for my father's funeral who died ten days ago. They say they will not do anything until my next deposit which isn't for another month. I have received the worst customer care ever and considering the death of a major family member 💔 this is hard enough without federal credit union bureaucracy and elevated corporate egos dictating when I get my money or PREVENTING my ability to bank ELSEWHERE.
