Came in around 4:45pm. Business was picking up, and more servers were starting to arrive for the night shift. We had a wait of about 15 minutes for 2 people. We sat and waited and looked around. The place is neat and clean. Signs everywhere for specials and rewards program. We were seated in Desiree's section. She greeted us timely and took our drink order. It was happy hour, so we ordered a draft beer for $1 off, and on the tablet, we ordered our appetizer for 1/2 off. Happy hour is from 3-6pm and 9pm- close. After we ordered our appetizer through the app, Desiree came over to take our entrée order. On the back of the menu are the 2 for $20, 2 for $29, and 2 for $32 meal deals. I ordered the bourbon shrimp with Cajun seasoning and chicken with mashed potatoes with a Ceasar salad. My husband ordered the honey glazed chicken tenders with penne pasta with a house salad. After she took our menus, moments later, she brought out our appetizer. Won ton chicken tacos. FREAKING DELICIOUS. We saw it on the promotional table tent and had to give it a try. Well worth it. As we finished our tacos, our salads were brought out to us, and Desiree took our app plates. We then munched on our salad as we waited for our entrees to be brought out. 3 minutes after finishing our salads, Desiree took our bowls, and then the manager brought out our entrees. Streaming hot and timely. We ate and tried each other's dishes. To be honest, the shrimp seasoning was not Cajun. The chicken was juicy, but the flavors were not what I was expecting for a "cajun" or New orleans dish. The mashed potatoes were amazing, though. My husband's pasta was good but not amazing. Overall, the appetizer was phenomenal. The main meals were just okay. Veterans discount was applied to our check and we paid through the tablet on the table. We had gift card that wasn't working on the tablet so Desiree took it and applied it to our check for us. We were then able to pay the difference on the tablet with our credit card. Easy and simple, an enjoyable experience, wonderful...
Read moreABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! I walk in was waiting 45min NO WATER NOBODY came & asked us anything. No to mention when I was seated in the booth the booth was DISGUSTING food all over the seat lime, fry’s & crumbs was all over the floor the lady came & cleaned & vacuumed. Now back to our waiter- she was not attentive after 45 minutes the waiter finally shows her face and we order water & I ordered a spicy margarita after now 1hr the waiter comes to ask me about how I would like the margarita I tell her if she had tajin she can put it on the rim otherwise salt is fine and if they are not able to make the spicy margarita a regular margarita is fine. 5 min later she ( the waiter ) brings the water out now 20 min later the bartender comes over and asks me about the margarita at this moment I’m thinking the waiter would have relayed the message to the bartender saying if she was unable to make the spicy margarita a regular margarita would be fine. I then tell the bartender a regular margarita is fine. So now after waiting for so long I end up canceling the food I ordered & decided to just go with the margarita well 10-15 min later everyone gets their food they ordered & I am just waiting on the margarita so about 15 minutes later my margarita shows up. I am extremely disappointed in the customer service at this location. If our waiter or anyone for that matter would have communicated with us with updates I would’ve been fine but no communication and poor customer service together ? Absolutely would not be returning to this ghetto...
Read moreThe food was very good and delicious, but there was a bit of a mix-up with my order. Despite being clear about what I wanted, the waiter included some extra dishes. Sometimes, people make assumptions and treat you based on those, rather than getting to know you first. The waiter spoke to me quickly and somewhat rambled, perhaps thinking I would go along with everything. However, being familiar with restaurant practices, I kindly pointed out that I hadn't ordered the extra dishes. From that point on, I sensed a bit of condescension from him. He offered me something else but hurried off, leaving me feeling a bit overlooked compared to other customers who received more attentive service.I'm not here to criticize the waiter harshly but to share some observations. 🚩 If your waiter doesn't give you enough time to finish speaking and rushes off, or speaks in a low, hurried manner while taking your order, it might be a sign to watch out 4 your 🫰🏼🤑💲💰. 🚩 He might be more focused on the bill total and could be disappointed if my order doesn't meet your certain expectations. "Excuse me, sir, "I just ask 1 plate, not the extras." It's possible there are minimum consumption standards, but everyone deserves good service regardless of their order size. The restaurant looked good, a good numbers of customers, it didn't look overwhelmed... This is just a small anecdote from my experience. I still plan to dine there again, as the food was excellent. Sharing this might help others recognize similar situations and ensure they receive the best...
